Sanjay Rath, the guru of SJC, believes this lagna to be accurate as well. Personally, the Katrina Hurricane event has convinced me that the Sagittarius lagna is correct since Saturn has affected the US field of activities through its transit of the 8th house of the US chart. KN Rao, through consultation with Yogi Karve, believes that the US chart should have a Leo lagna. This theory appears to be losing acceptance at the present time.
