Dear Shabnam,

9-11 stills haunts Americans. Indians forgot "Mumbai

Blasts" the very next week. The "attack on Parliament" was another normal

terrorist. Earthquakes, floods, landslides, etc are very common in India.

The common man in India is brought up with the fact clearly etched in

his mind that life is fragile. One who is born must die. Somewhere, our

philosophies and outlook towards life are very down to earth and keep life

going.

We respect our elderly, we are taught to help the needy. Love for money

and wealth is looked down at. For a population as large as India, the crime

rate is much lower than in US.

orleans vs mumbai

not to ruffle any sesitive feathers.......but their seems to be the possibility

of an inevitable perspective shift comming up for all of us.

I think that in the Guiness book of records of the future, America will be

written about as the shortest ruling world power/ culture.

Some enlightened historians might analyse that it was because America was the

power/ culture which believed itself to be above the Universal laws.

And since the world couldnt fight American economic & military clout, Nature had

to step in to bring back equilibrium. Amen !

i expected more from those who claim to be enlightend and spiritually

awake...reminds me of 7th grade; "my country is better than yours and my god

can beat up your god" mentality...if what im witnessing here (from several not

by all) is what Jyotish teaches/offers; thanks but no thanks...

outta here...

Blessings

Dear Sz,

Just because one claims to be enlightened and

spiritually awake doesn't mean one practices it. But

if one DOES, it doesn't mean one is perfect. Everyone

lets off steam. This is an opportunity for YOU to be

enlightened and let them have the chance. Also an

opportunity to understand how it feels to hear "us"

when "we" are nationalistic, divisive, superior

separatists - and with far less reason. And seldom do

"they" rightfully put us in our place. You are free to

your reaction, and your posts add wonderful diversity,

but being "outta here" is not the path to

enlightenment. You have an opportunity for

understanding right now. Want to take it?
