The Yuga Chakra

Dear List Members,

 

A few day ago there was an extract from Indian Express that explained we are in

the midst of Kali Yuga. This is the general belief in India and most other

parts of the world that to vedic teachings. Are we really in the

middle of Kali Yuga, or are we else where in the Yuga Cycle? Has there been an

error in calculations, if so how did it come about?

 

In the Introduction to a booklet called "The Holy Science", written by Swami Sri

Yukteswar Giri (of Yukteswar Ayanamsa fame), the guru of Swami Sri Paramahansa

Yogananda, he clearly explains the yuga chakra. Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri was

one of India's God-realised Masters. Such Masters possess intuitive powers of

reasoning and are able to discern truths that evade mere mortals like the rest

of us. He goes to show the real point in the Yuga Cycle that we are in at

present and how the error had crept into the calculations. His arguments are

convincing.

The word 'tatah' clearly indicates it is a prediction for the future.

Purana is 5000 years old. Bhagavan Buddha appeared 2600 years ago. A clear

prophesy. Buddha's appearance is described as being in the beginning of Kali

Yuga. 2400 years of the Kali Yuga have passed. How then, is this the

beginning?

JYOTISH TO SEE THE EFFECT OF KALI. TAKE THE TIME OF RECKONING OF THE DAY. IN

JYOTISH, WE ARE TAUGHT THAT THIS BEGINS WITH THE FIRST RAYS OF THE SUN AND

IF WE WERE FOLLOWING THIS IN OUR DAY TO DAY LIVES, THE FIRST HOUR WOULD BE

FROM SUNRISE WHICH IS, ASTROLOGICALLY EQUATED WITH ARIES. HOWEVER, TODAY WE

FOLLOW THE DAY THAT STARTS FROM MIDNIGHT CALLED "KALI GAYATRI" THAT IS

EQUATED WITH THE SIGN CAPRICORN. THUS, WE ARE IN KALI YUGA. IN THIS MANNER

THE JYOTISHA SHOULD STUDY ALL THE SIGNS AROUND TO SEE WHAT GUNA PREVAILS AT

ANY PLACE OR IN ANY INSTITUTION.

 

Other points to remember are that according to Bhagavat Purana, Mahabharata,

Chaitanya Upanishad (in the Atharva Veda), Lord Sri Krishna would incarnate

as

Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, in the Kali Yuga. Sri Chaitanya appeared 500 years

ago.

This was also Kali Yuga. He also accepted that we are in Kali Yuga.

 

SANJAY: "JAGANNATHA SWAMI NAYANA PATAHA GAMI BHAVA TUME". THIS PRAYER OF SRI

SRI CHAITANYA MAHAPRABHU IS THE ESSENCE OF OUR PATH IN THIS AGE OF DARKNESS

WHERE THE DARKNESS IS BLINDING. I HAVE ALSO GIVEN THE VISHNU GAYATRI

RECENTLY IN THIS LIST..IT GIVES THE POWER TO SEE THE TRUTH.

 

Finally, if Kali Yuga is really over, what happened to the incarnation of

Lord Kalki.

 

"Thereafter, at the conjuntion of two Yugas, the Lord of the creation will

take His birth as the Kalki incarnation and Become the son of Vishnu Yashaa.

At this time the rulers of the Earth will have degenerated into plunderers."

(Bhagavat Purana 01:03:25)

I am not sure of the exact date and time, and I don't know Sri Achyuta Das's

view. Can you tell me? All I firmly believe, is that Sri Kalki will appear at

the end of Kali Yuga (427000 years approx) in the village of Sambhala, in the

house of Vishnu Yashaa.
