Guest guest
Jaya Jaya Jagannath Dear Siddharth, Study the chart of PV Narasimha rao and see the value of the Vipareeta Rajyoga in catapulting a small clerk in the Andhra Pradesh secretariat into the Prime Minister of india. This happened during the Sun and Mars Dasa's which are lords of the 12th house and 3rd & 8th house for his virgo Lagna. See the importance of the dispositor of the 9th Lord. It becomes the harbinzer of Rajyoga. As advised by some very learned astrologers of the east, he used a RED CORAL (for Mars as it is vipareeta Yogakarak and is placed in the 10th with the Sun in combustion! and is also the dispositor of the 9th lord venus (in Aries)). In fact, this has the power to push up a small man as Saturn is the significator of Democracy as well as the poor man and the poor man becomes the King or some such other high dignitary/ rich. The houses involved in VRY are the dusthana of which Saturn is the significator. We must understand the yoga's properly in this manner and then its application becomes easy. Guest guest
I understand that the idea behind the VRY is that success occurs when one's enemies, losses etc. are weak, combust, debilitated etc. BUT WHAT IF THESE TRIK LORDS OCCUPY THEIR OWN SIGNS IN THESE VERY TRIK HOUSES? Should this be taken to mean that enemies are strong? Or whether there'll be trouble through strong enemis but native will conquer them? It's all very contradictory and confusing. A case in point is the following chart: Ascendent=Scorpio, Sun=Gemini, Moon=Aquarious, Mars=Aries, Mercury=Gemini(combust), Jupiter=taurus, Venus=Taurus, Saturn=cancer,Ketu=pisces......Should phenomenal results of VRY be predicted? Current Dasha=Saturn(sub=Mercury)...there seems to be nothing extraordinary about hte native. Similar confusion arises in case a trik lord is debilitated but subject to neech bhanga. thanks. Guest guest
Hi Trika lords in their own houses do not contitute VRY. For this, strictly speaking the definition involves- a. mutual exchange of trika lords (6th lord in 8th or 12th; 8th lord in 6th or 12th; 12th lord in 6th or 8th) b. no other planet should be associated (by aspect or conjunction) with trika lords Interestingly, 6th lord is not favoured in 8th or 12th on its own OR SO for other trika lords. (eg. 6th lord in 8th causes debts) There was special series of articles on trika lords in TOA (few years back) and in the entire series of articles, not a single complete VRY was described. However, in many quoted examples, many positive results were attached to such partial combination(s). exaltation or debilitation of a planet is more to do with their strength and if a planet is strong its natural significations are fortified; provided such strength is supported by its D charts (Vimshopaka bala); and sign dispositor's strength. In my limited expereince, cancellation of debilitation is merely a strength indicator to the extent that, a planet which was supposed to be weak due to its debilitation is not so due to its dispositor's strength. regards Prafulla Gang - Siddhartha Maheshwary <sidd__m <SRath; <gjlist; <yoga2000; <sjvc > Tuesday, April 06, 1999 7:45 PM [sjvc] Re: Vipareet Raj Yoga: The greatest upsetter in a Democracy > I understand that the idea behind the VRY is that success occurs when > one's enemies, losses etc. are weak, combust, debilitated etc. > BUT WHAT IF THESE TRIK LORDS OCCUPY THEIR OWN SIGNS IN THESE VERY TRIK > HOUSES? > Should this be taken to mean that enemies are strong? Guest guest
Jaya Jaya Jagannath Dear Siddharth, The moot point is that if a planet owns two houses, and is placed in one of them, then the results of this sign predominate. In the example cited, the results of Mars as the sixth Lord in the sixth shall predominate. It is simultaneously important to have a favourable Lagna lord or the entire life of such people shall be wasted in fights and all kinds of litigations. The solution lies in befriending the lord of the sign of exaltation of the lagna lord. For example, in two different charts, both born in Taurus Lagna with Venus in the sixth in Libra, I found intense struggle. Nothing came easy and the persons had to face terrible fights and litigations. I had advised the right use of a YELLOW SAPPHIRE in the RIGHT HAND RING FINGER (Note NOT INDEX FINGER) and the life became easier. The cases have ended and they have started to settle down. Finances are excellent. We can't have hard and fast rules and need to study individual charts. In the given example you have given, Saturn in Cancer in the ninth shows the Way...Propitiate Saturn and you will find Mars turning in your favour. Neecha Bhanga shall begin. Saturn in the ninth is singlehandedly capable of destroying a hundred Rajyoga. It just obstructs the fruits of Jupiter from coming. Propitiation has also to be done ONLY IN A TEMPLE. Since it is Cancer, the temple should be of THE MOTHER..IDEALLY..KALI MATA.
