Dear Narasimha & Robert,

To fully understand Moola Dasa, apply the dictum of Kalyan Verma

"Saravali" where the results of Moola Dasa are given. This will also help in

delination of the general life trend of the Chart. Note that the nodes are

not used in Moola Dasa. It is some kind of effect of the last birth as seen

in the chart of Sri Rama.

In the Chart of Sri Krishna, the Astottari Dasa with Tithi Arambha

is more apt as the birth is in Krishna Paksha with the exalted Moon in

Lagna. The first Dasa is of Rahu (Bhagawan was born in Astami Tithi) and

during the Janma dasa of Rahu, Bhagavan was attacked by many Demons all of

whom He killed. If you apply Vimsottari, then the first dasa will be of the

exalted Moon and you cannot explain as to why His parents were imprisoned

nor can you explain all those demon attacks (unless of course you start

stretching).

Thus is very important to pick the correct Dasa system for the

Chart. Narayana Dasa gives such excellent results because it is universal in

application. Su-Dasa are also to be used for promotions, power etc.

Hare Krishna,

Sanjay Rath
