Dear Joan,

I don't have much time to cast charts. Use GJ to mail me one if you

want a deeper reading. Initial: Rahu and Ketu rule Aquarius and Scorpio

respectively. Moon in Aries shows the Danger to the head as it is the Lord

of the Badhak. The transit of Saturn over your Moon sign after April 1998

times the danger to the Head region. Your Upapada (Marriage) is in Capricorn

with Rahu in it showing that your husband will prove to be a diabolical

person and after the advent of Rahu Dasa, his time will prove favourable and

he will be terrible.

There is no solace till the end of Rahu-Rahu. And the transit of

saturn over Moon ends only in June 2000. So, till this transit occurs, you

will have to fight it out. Jupiter as the 2nd Lord in the 6th shows success

in battles, but is not good for children. The transit of Jupiter into Aries

from May 26, 1999 shows that you will get a new/ good lawyer for your

battle. Choose one on Thursday and recite the following Tantrik Mantra " OM

GRAM GRIM GRAUM SAH GURAVE NAMAH" This mantra is in the GJ software/CD.

Drink a cup of milk in the morning with a pinch of turmeric in it. Apply a

little turmeric on your forehead (Center) as well.

HOW TO CONTROL HUSBAND. Start fasting on all saturdays (ONLY milk

and fruits allowed) and start worshipping Thirupati Balaji " Venkateswara "

a form/rupa of Sri Krishna. Your husband will gradually lose. Remember this

will continue for another year or so. A lot depends on your sincerity.

Hare Krishna,

Sanjay

> Greetings,

> I am a Western Astrologer and a begining student of Jyotish. I am also

> new to the list (d last week). I have been overwhelmed by much

> of the conversations, but I am determined to try to learn much from what

> the list has to offer.

> Now for my question: I entered my Rahu Dasa in April of 1998. I had read

> in a Vedic astrology book, that the first year of Rahu is terrible, but

> then stabilizes after that until the last year during which the native

> loses whatever he/she has gained during those 18 years. My first year was

> indeed terrible: I was diagnosed with a brain/pituitary tumor, and had

> brain surgery in Sept. '98, my ex-husband has taken my only son

> out-of-state, and I no longer have any contact with him; I have no income,

> but the state is coming after me for child support and has started action

> against my house and driver's license because of it; I am still in the

> courts trying to regain custody of my son and rectify the child support

> (which were imposed by fraudulent and corrupt methods), but I cannot

> afford a lawyer; my son has turned against me due to his father's

> compulsive lying and manipulation; I am uncertain if I will be able to

> finish my last semester of college (I am on my second leave of absence)

> because of diminished memory ability following the brain/pituitary damage;

> and on and on. Now in my second year of Rahu, I see little improvement.

> Should I expect this to last for the full 18 years? In my Rashi Chart,

> Rahu is in 3 in Capricorn; Saturn is in 11; Venus, Mercury, and Ketu are

> in 9; Langa is in Scorpio with Mars in 12; Moon and Jupiter are in 6; and

> Sun is in 8 (Birth data: July 14, 1952 16:04 EST (5:00 timezone)

> Long.:79W59'46 Lat. 40N26'26).

> Because Rahu and Ketu do not rule any houses or signs, what information

> would one use to understand the nature of their dasas besides there Rashi

> chart placements? I have found little info about this in the few Vedic

> astrology books that I own. Any info and insights into my question and

> situation would be most appreciated.

> Much thanks and blessings ahead of time, Joan
