Vipareeta Rajyoga / Crux Of Vedic Astrology

Hello all,

My name is Jerry. I have just joined this discussion list recently. I find

that this list both informative and

educational. I am currently reading Sanjay Rath's book "Crux Of Vedic

Astrology" . I just have a question

regarding Vipareeta Rajyoga. On p21 of the book, it states that: " if Taurus

ascends with Saturn in

debility in the 12th house, a Vipareeta Rajyoga is generated. Now, if

Jupiter conjoins Saturn, the native

will lose his sons while simultaneously enjoying the other benefits of the

Rajyoga." I just have some

questions below:

1. Why is that the native will lose his sons ? Is that because Jupiter

represents his sons ?

SRath: Yes, Jupiter is the Natural significator for children, especially,

sons.

2. When will the native lose his sons ?

SRath: When the shoola Dasa is in trines to the Karak.

3. Would his sons be fine, if other benefics aspect Jupiter and Saturn ?

SRath: If jupiter were to defeat saturn, due to the conjunction or aspect

of the luminaries, then the situation can be altered. In such cases, the

native is saved from the Vipareeta Rajyoga negative effects, and the rajyoga

ceases to function.

4. On p.20. it states that:" The Mahadasa of Saturn was from Dec 1970 to

1989. he became

the Home Minister of Kerala....." It seems that Saturn is having good

effects on the native.

Is that correct ?

SRath: Yes, its placement in a dusthana can give a very powerful Rajyoga.

Thank you very much for your help.

Isnt Jupiter also Dhana Karaka? How are the negative effects of VRY

narrowed down to children? Saturn posited in 12th would have 3rd house

aspect on 2nd. Could it be because Saturn rules 9 & 10 for Taurus

ascendant and hence person doing well in career could not have monetary

problems. Or is there something more to this?

What would be the effects for a native having Taurus ascendant with

Saturn in 12th & moon in 6th? Moon being Matrukaraka one would imagine

negative effects applying to mother, however native's mother is doing

fine healthwise.

Any suggestions?

Regards,

Prakash
