Guest guest
1.Judge the mahadasha lord from surya(sun) 2.Judge the antardasha lord from chandra(moon) 3.Judge the pratyantardasha lord from lagna(ascendent) ======= Dear Sanjay, I came across this Extremely intriguing Instruction when running through some older GJ List Postings, kindly provided by a List Member to me. Please could you elaborate on this - if I am right - I am currently in Rahu-Mercury-Saturn (reckoned from Moon) - 1) So - what do I do - calculate my MahaDasa from Sun's Natal Point (instead of from usual Moon Vimshottari)? Which gives at present SUN-MOON-MERCURY - so do I take My MahaDasa as SUN? 2) And then calculate my AntarDasa from Moon's Natal Point? - which gives RAHU-MERCURY-SATURN - so do I take My AntarDasa as MERCURY or RAHU? 3) And then calculate my PrayantarDasa from Lagna's Natal Point? - which gives JUPITER-SATURN-MARS - do I take my PrayantarDasa as MARS or JUPITER? How do I then "read" how my Dasa-Bhukti-Prayantar is running, since I will no longer be "reading" it as Rahu-Mercury-Saturn? Please help!! Many thanks. Very best regards - Sateesh. Guest guest
Dear Sateesh, 1.Judge the mahadasha lord from surya(sun) 2.Judge the antardasha lord from chandra(moon) 3.Judge the pratyantardasha lord from lagna(ascendent) ======= Dear Sanjay, I came across this Extremely intriguing Instruction when running through some older GJ List Postings, kindly provided by a List Member to me. Please could you elaborate on this - if I am right - You misunderstood it. You find Vimsottari dasa from Moon only, but use Sun, Moon and lagna as reference points (for finding houses etc) when analyzing dasas, antardasas and pratyantardasas. The way you compute dasas, antardasas etc does not change. This principle only gives a way to interpret them. When interpreting a dasa, take Sun as the reference (as lagna) and analyze the position of dasa lord. When interpreting an antardasa, take Moon as the reference (as lagna) and analyze the position of dasa lord. When interpreting a pratyantardasa, take lagna as the reference and analyze the position of dasa lord. Read the following articles by me to see examples of this principle: (1) Interpreting dasas and antardasas Narasimha Rao (29 Jul 1999) vedic astrology/1493.html (2) Example 2: Aishwarya Rai Narasimha Rao (30 Jul 1999) vedic astrology/1502.html [These articles were posted only to my list. A subsequent mail from Zoran may have been posted to GJlist also. You can share these pointers with GJlist if you want.] May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha I am currently in Rahu-Mercury-Saturn (reckoned from Moon) - 1) So - what do I do - calculate my MahaDasa from Sun's Natal Point (instead of from usual Moon Vimshottari)? Guest guest
OM KRISHNA GURU OM Dear Sateesh, Calculate the Vimsottari Dasa from the Moon. Thus you are running the periods of Rahu-mercury-Saturn. Now, study the position of Rahu from the Sun, Mercury from the moon and Saturn from lagna. The results will be clear and easy to decipher now.
