Dear Sanjay ji

Sat Nam. Would your instructions about figuring Vimsottari Dasa

from the Moon and then reading mahadasha lord from Sun, bhukti lord

from Moon and pratyantar lord from lagna also apply in those cases

where Vimsottari dasa from Moon is questionable as mentioned in "Crux"?

In cases where Moon is in dusthana, o_r weak compared to lagna as per

Jaimini's first source of strength, I had been thinking one should then

take Vimsottari dasa from the lagna and calculate dasa sesham from the

balance of the lagna's constellation. But another recent post of yours

has thrown me off that track, as if you are saying in all cases always

take Vimsottari from Moon constellation's balance. In case of a weak

Moon would it then be correct to take dasa sesham from Moon but read

the lords from lagna only?

A different question, perhaps for some time in the future--could

you explain or suggest where Westerners might find out more about, some

of the deities and other rulers in vargas which Parasara , or

Santhanam's commentary, mentions i.e. for Dasamsa, the ten rulers of

the cardinal directions, Indra, Agni, Yama, Rakshasa, etc., or in the

dvadasamsa the role of Ganesa, Aswini Kumara, Yama, Sarpa or the

siddhamsa deities......

Thank you for your excellent inspiration in your works.

Best regards,

Sat Siri Kaur Khalsa

OM KRISHNA GURU OM

Dear Satsiri Kaur,

That is a good question. The dasa sesham can be from the Moon, 4th or

5th star from Moon or from the Lagna star depending on strengths. Thus, if

the Moon is weak, take the dasa sesham from Lagna (this is a practical

note). However, the reckoning from the Sun, Moon and lagna should continue

for the dasa, antar and pratyantar results. Read the Solar Yogas chapter for

the first part carefully and the Lunar Yoga for the antardada. The Rajyoga

should be carefully studied for the Lagna.

Om Tat Sat

Best Wishes

Sanjay Rath
