How can it be overcome or dealt with? According to Pursottam on G list my rasi chart says I have this condition. Guest guest Posted December 6, 1999 Report Share Posted December 6, 1999 Dear Rob, Sade-Sati is the Period where Saturn is transiting (a) in the Sign before your Natal Moon, (b) over the Sign of your Natal Moon, and then © in the Sign after your Natal Moon - In the Sign before that in which your Natal Moon is situated, i.e. in your case your Natal (Birth) Moon is in Aries - so the first stage of Sade-Sati is when Saturn is transiting in the preceding sign (Pisces) - it did this for 2.5 Years approx. Currently, Sade-Sati is in Aries - so it has passed over the first stage (Pisces), and was over your Natal Moon sign of Aries from the End of April '98 - it will remain there until the beginning of June 2000. Then it will move into Taurus for the third (and final) stage - again 2.5 Years approx. Each of the 3 stages lasts about 2.5 Years - hence, the term "Sade-Sati" which means 7.5 Years Saturn (2.5 multiplied by 3). This heavy period afflicts everyone's chart when it passes in the 3 Houses from Natal Moon mentioned above. Hopefully, Sanjay or others will be able to prescribe the remedy for your case. Thus Sadesati refers to the seven and half years of Saturn Transit over the natal Moon sign covering the 12th, 1st and 2nd houses from it. In the first transit i.e. the 12th house, the native has personal problems with spouse or gets a bad spouse as Saturn in the 12th from the Moon gives a Bad spouse. In the second 2 &1/2 years transit over the Moon sign, the native suffers in the work, mental tensions grip him and there is an upsurge of enemies & the like. In the third transit, the native is under financial duress. I have not found these to be very accurate and may need modification on the basis of individual charts.
