Guest guest
om sri gurave namah ----------------------- Respected Sri Gouranga Das ji Namaskar Here is my answere to the first assignment-- Q1. Season changes due to the the fact that the path traverses by the Sun is not at 90 degrees to the north-south axis of the earth. It is slightly tilted to it. So, when Sun traverses the ecliptic corresponding to one hemisphere, that part of the hemisphere experiences warmth(summer) and on the other part of hemisphere , there is winter , because the other part is much away from the sun. Q2. AS the Earth's equator and ecliptic are not parralel or perpendicular to each other, rather the ecliptic is tilted to the longitudinal axis of the earth, at some point of the year the sun will neither 'rise' nor 'set' near the poles of the earth. Q3, The non-moving boies are the stars or nakshatras, and the moving bodies are the planets or grahas. Nakshatras are situated at the same places in everyones horoscope, and influences the moving grahas on them by their inherent natures and by their rulership of nine planets. The nakshatras form the body of 12 rasis, in which the moving planets indicate by their position different patterns of human destiny. Q4. I was born in april, when the sun was placed at Meena Rasi. It was Uttarayana. The Ascendant is Libra and Descendant is Aries. At sunrise in april(2nd april 1956 is my date of birth), meena rasi with sun rises at the eastern horizon. It takes almost 2 hours for a rasi to travers the horizon. As libra rises as Lagna, it almost took 14 hours from sunrise for libra to 'rise' in the east. SO, the birth is at night.Above the horizon are the Rasis from Taurus to Virgo. Venus and Ketu are in taurus, Jupiter is at cancer. So these 3 planets are above horizon, rest are below it. Pranam Guruji Yours Sincerely Dilip.
