Dear Solai Guru

 

I have taken your suggestion very seriously (ref your suggestion to try

memorising, rather than using basic arithmetic) for identifying nak-padas &

correlating them to sign/ navamsa/ vargottam, etc.

 

Last weekend I drew a diagram by hand on a big chart-paper, & kept staring

at it over the weekend, till I imbibed it visually. As a test, I can now do

it on a blank paper perfectly.

 

THANK YOU for the suggestion. I am also sending it to the vedic astrology

list, as there may be others who could benefit by this visual memorisation,

which I found so difficult before.

 

The diagram is enclosed after recreating as a Word doc (cant paste below as

formats go hay-wire. I hope other students can re-draw it by hand & do the

same, or blow up the font sizes (keep formats in mind, else the pada nos

marked, may shift to refer to other naks & there will be confusion) & print

out. Hand-drawn helps memorisation better & avoids all confusion. Dont

worry about virus in opening this document
