Guest guest
OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH JAYA JAGANNATHA Namaste Chandan, Mr.Narasimha has done a great work on the JHL and he has given this software for free. We have not paid anything for this and we should respect his hard work and time he has spent on this. 1. Even if there is a bug, do not send to the list by mentioning in the subject. It will be a pain for the person who has done this great service. You know his e-mail address and send to him instead of sending to the list. 2. If you find an error or bug in the software, please give the details, like, the parameters used by you and how the output of the software is differing from your manual calculation, instead of just saying you have a doubt. This is a total disrespect to the developer. I am sorry to be harsh on this issue. I felt so hurt, when I read your mail. Guest guest
Dear Solai and others, Relax, take it easy. There is really no "pain". If you find a bug, give all the details so that I can also reproduce the bug and understand the problem. There is not much use if you say "I think it's wrong". Give the exact birthdata you used (preferably the .jhd file itself), the divisional chart you used and which value (which planet's AV, which sign etc) is wrong, what JHLite gives and what you think it should be. If you give all this info, I can either (1) understand the bug and fix it, or, (2)tell you why the software is right and you are wrong. When it comes to ashtakavarga, there are a few discrepancies between Parasara and Varahamihira. Most people follow Varahamihira, but I followed Parasara. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha PS: When there is a bug report, the best option is, as Solai said, to send a personal mail to me (with all the data needed of course). Why waste the time of everybody by sending it to the entire list? sjvc, "Solai Kannan" <solai@i...> wrote: > OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH > JAYA JAGANNATHA > > Namaste Chandan, > > Mr.Narasimha has done a great work on the JHL and he has given this software > for free. Guest guest
I am sorry if I heart anyone's feeling. I thought Mr. Rao wanted to know about any bugs, I think that's why he gave it to us. I admire his work. It's really great to have someone working on such software. Any way next time I will make sure to send it directly to him. Thanks Chandan sjvc, "Solai Kannan" <solai@i...> wrote: > OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH > JAYA JAGANNATHA > > Namaste Chandan, > > Mr.Narasimha has done a great work on the JHL and he has given this software > for free.
