Guest guest
Dear All I am summarising here, the key relational concepts which I have learnt over the past few days from the vedic astrology/ this List, from my initial questions about how to better understand the relationships between planets. Note that it does NOT include concepts related to house-lordship, or placement in houses, eg aspecting own/ friendly karaka house, eg St aspecting/ argalaing 9 (significators of 9 are Sn= dad, Jp= dharma, teacher, religion, Ke= moksh, Ve= long travel) could be bad for father (St = enemy of Sun), good for long travel (Ve is friend), neutral for Jp related significations (Jp neutral), suitably modified by St's natural malignance, its lordship, placement, etc. a) Relationship b/w planets: ie irrespective of lordship & house-placement wrt each other: Discover from classics in 3 contexts: a) planet X in sign owned by Y, b) cjns of planets, c) Dasa-bhukti relationships. Determinants of effects: i) merger of their natural significations: eg Sn-Ma= courg. ii) house-significations: eg Jp in/ aspecting 12 is bn (own-krk hse) fr spiritlty. iii) ref to natural zodia: /// above, but considering natural zodiac: eg NC's qn: Ma-Mn Dasa-Bhukti definition: hapiness fm children & friends; wealth from different & many sources, bilious trouble to self or mom: Ma (bile, anger, fiery) with Mn (mom, wealth, watery) are mutual natural friends, enemy tatwas. Solai: Ma= L5 fm Cn= Mn-sign in ntl zodiac; & both hv mutual sign aspect. So, hapinese fm children. Bilious illness (Ma) to mom (Mn)/ self (Mn= karaka for self as Janma-rasi & mind). Ma= YogKarak fr Cn & Ar aspects 2 fm Cn, + Ar= chara rasi; so many sources of wealth. iv) natural friend/ enemy: in BOTH direcns (Pg refs fm CoVA where relationship in OPP direction used): a) Mn-Mc (Mc: Mn= enemy, Mn: Mc= friend): pg 235: Mc (X) affects Mn (Y) badly as Y is enemy for X, b) Mn-Ve: (Ve: Mn= enemy, Mn: Ve= neutral): pg 167: Ve in 5, as is 2 fm 4, is ml to mom (4). c) Mc-Ma: (Ma: Mc= nmy, Mc: Ma= neut: Ma cjn L2 in 11 (also then, aspects 2)= wealth, BUT speak late in childhood (as Mc= karaka of 2 fr speech, & is natural enemy of Ma). Note: use tighter definition of planets being in friendly/ inimical signs, as given in CoVA, versus that simply derivable from being disposited by its natural friend/ enemy, etc, eg Sn is neutral in Ge, tho Mc is its friend. The difference comes out when you go back to basics about marking 7/ upachayas from the multrik, exclude its own/ exaltation signs, & count the no of times that it is a natural friend, etc. v) as friend/ enemytattwas: vi) relationship as children (St son of Sn, Mc bastard son of Jp's wife & Mn): Visti: eg Mc influenced by Mn/ Jp: when Mn assocts with Dharma of Mc, the child gets bad influence= becomes promiscious. If Jp takes Mc in= person spiritual & learn good dharma. vii) in exaltation/ debilitation sign of the other: eg CoVA: Mc in 11= many friends (NB in 11), early gains, good marital relns (args 7), BUT disinterest in sex, as Ve (natural karak of 7) is debilitated in Mc's sign, so Mc negates influence of Ve.
