Yogi and Avayogi planets - Nakshatra lordships.

Dear List members,

In continuation with the discussion on Yogi and Ava Yogi planets in the

vedicsociety egroup, I request the learned members to clarify a question . Shri

Santhanam , in one of his books has made the point that the nakshatra lordships

of planets is only for vimshottari dasa system and is not applicable for other

analysis. While lordships of signs etc is given in the beginning of Brihat

Parasara Hora Sastra, lordships of nakshatras come only in the chapter on

dasas.As yogi and avayogi planets are based on nakshatra lordships, is the

asignment of the nakshatra lordships to planets according to the vimshottari

scheme justifiable to be universally applicable?
