Respected Guruji,

I noticed my attachment did not come properly. Hence,

I have added the answers below; Imy apologies for the

mistake.

Chidambaram.

SJVC Lesson 4 – The Planets Answers:

Q.1: Planets’ positions in own chart:

I have given the positions of planets in my own chart:

(I still have doubts about my birth time and it needs

rectification by some experts; until then, I shall use

the current chart).

Planet Rasi &Degree Navamsa

Lagna Aquarius 7 deg 9’ Sagitarius

Sun Cancer 12 17’ Libra

Debilitated in Navamsa

Moon Libra 14 deg 47’ Aquarius

Mars Leo 17 deg 05’ Virgo

Merc Leo 6 deg 23’ Taurus

Jupiter Leo 7 deg 27’ Gemini

Venus Cancer 20 deg 58’ Capricorn

Saturn Gemini 11 deg 45’ Capricorn

Own in Navamsa

Rahu Cancer 4 deg 00’ Cancer

Kethu Capricorn 4 deg 00’ Aquarius

Apart from Sun's debilitation and Saturn in own sign,

both in Navamsa, there is no other planets in own

signs, exaltation or debilitations.

Q. 2: Characters of Planets during their

dasa/antardasa periods in own Chart:

Sun: Sun denotes government, authority and father. Sun

is debilitated in my navamsa. During Sun’s antardasa

in Jupiter dasa, I lost my father. Also, whenever, I

was in government service, it prevented me to reach

the top/authoritative position.

Moon: In my chart, the Moon is waxing and is in

exchange with Venus; however, it is the 6th lord. It

gave me closer attachment to my mother even before I

lost my father; due to its 9th house placement and

exchange with Venus it gave me lot of travels abroad.

Mars: Mars gave me disciplined surgical training; I

cannot decipher as a specific period of antardasa (I

will not have Mars dasa as I start with Raghu Dasa at

birth) but Mars, being the 10th lord in Rasi and the

ascendant lord, exalted in the 10th, in my Dasamsa and

this might explain my profession as a surgeon. I did

not intend to be a surgeon to start with, but during

my early training – in Saturn dasa and antardasa of

Sun and pratyantardasa of Venus - was attracted to

surgery and later to chest and heart surgery. Hence

ended up doing lot of heart operations and stayed in

this field of surgery. Mars also gave me the ability

to buy my first house during the pratyantardasa of

Venus.

Mercury: Mercury has given youthful appearance which

even now makes me look much younger than my actual

age. However, the rest of the Mercury’s dasa had given

me a mixture of its lordship qualities, mainly as 8th

lord as its Moolthrikona in 8th and 5th lord and also

due to its position in the 7th, lot of obstruction,

some research and income.

Jupiter: Jupiter conferred wisdom; during its dasa of

16 years which rightly started from primary school to

the university, gave me good education with above

average grades.

Venus: Venus during its antardasa periods gave me the

ability to purchase a vehicle.

Saturn: Saturn is my lagna lord. Also as responsible

for karma or profession, during his dasa, gave me my

first job. He gave me meticulous disciplined training

during his entire dasa. I also noticed that during

Saturn dasa, every thing was always delayed, despite

my rigorous attempts to speed things; finally I had to

learn to accept delays.

Rahu: I started with Rahu dasa and was told that I was

often sick until the age of 5 which coincides with the

balance of my Rahu dasa. True to his nature, gave me

lot of desires to purchase luxurious things but they

did not last long! I also had a robbery in the house,

during one of Rahu’s antardasa period.

Kethu: Kethu’s antardasa periods were surprisingly did

not give me much surprises, as I had too many

surprises already with other dasa and antardasa

periods! I was already religious, hence I cannot

attribute this to Kethu. However, I am due to start

Kethu’s dasa in a year’s time and preparing myself for

lot of nasty surprises.

Thank you.
