Gurudev

I wanted to start my 5 yr old son on his Ishta-Mantra. I checked VRA

and found the many conditions for suitability. His Isht-Mantra should

have been the same as mine, ie "Om Namo Narayanaya" (Saturn, lord of

Capricorn in d-9, unoccupied 12th to Ra AK). However, it is "fruitless"

based on the starting letter of his name, Rohan, as per VRA (his name

was arbitrary & did not consider astrological factors). You mentioned

there to also check wrt Janma-Lagna in the modern context of arbitrary

name-giving. His Moon is in 8= Scorpio in Rashi chart. Then with which

letter should I start checking the table you have given in VRA? As he

has a difficult chart, with KAY & host of other balarishtas, etc, if a

Guru can actually give him his mantra (something VERY simple with

fewest syllables, I would be very grateful. He knows the Gayatri

mantra, even tho his thread ceremony is not yet done, as he has to do

it every day in school.

I also want to check mine, tho it fits wrt my name (Nandan), & my name

must have been given in those days (I am 42) considering astrology, tho

I cant be sure. My Moon is in 7= Pisces conjoined Ke in Rasi. So which

letter should I check the suitability wrt N of "Namo" from? Is there a

table of signs & corresponding letters somewhere?

If a Guru on SJVC can actually find the time to check all these complex

suitabilities & give the Isht-Mantra for me AND Rohan AND Anjula (my

wife), of course I would be VERY grateful. It is a tall task, but I

would be VERY grateful.

Rohan likes daily meditation with me (I've told him, Gayatri mantra=

God's language, just like his self-composed nonsensical songs are the

language for his conversations with aliens from Mars. And he has long

private conversations with God, aliens, etc, in their various

languages. And he tells me what God has told him to do that day, etc

etc. He quite likes the whole concept of talking to God).

I am attaching all 3 charts (r= rohan, j= anjula, nc= nandan)

Om Gurave Namah

------------------------

Dear Nandan

Some mantra are called PRASIDDHA Mantra and they can never be Ari (enemy to

anyone. The Vishnu astakshari Om namo Narayana is one such mantra. Others are

Prasiddha Mantra (Best advise)

Sun - Om Namah Shivaaya

Moon - Om Matre Namah

Mars - Om Namo Bhagavate Rudraaya

Mercury - Om Vishnave Namah

Jupiter - Om Tat Sat

Venus - Om namo Lakshmi Narayanaaya

Saturn - Om Namo Naraayanaya

Rahu - Om Aim Hrim Kleem Chamundayai Vichchai

Ketu - Om Ganeshaaya namah

In addition, for Lagna & Karma suddhi: Om namo Bhagavate Vasudevaaya (Supreme

Intelligence) or Hare Rama Krishna

Always prefer these mantra over others as they will give definite and good

results without any negatives.

Best Regards,

Sanjay Rath
