To Guru Solai - Example Dasamsa D-10 in Lesson 5. Clarification needed.

Pranams,

 

I was going through lesson 5 where an example D-10 chart has been given. Lagna

is taurus and in the lesson it has been mentioned as saturn being the 10th

lord, placed in the 3rd signifying short travel. My doubt here is why is saturn

taken as the 10th lord? why not rahu? It would seem rahu ( is more stronger )

would qualify as the 10th lord as rahu is with more number of planets when

compared to saturn (who is alone).

 

Please do help me see what i am missing.

Guruji may be illuminating seperatelyand correctly. I am taking opportunity to

express my view.

 

Usually, for determining Rashi dasa, arudhas etc., we consider dual lordship of

aquarius and Scorpio strictly as per Maharishi Jaimini's principle. For

deleneating general predictions one may prefer to opt for single lordship

format for one's own conviniency. This is correct as per widely followed norms.

During the right Dasa, Saturn may take on more importance than Rahu.. but in the

end the stronger will dominate.

 

Likely the person may seek towards Rahu's position at some point.
