1) My lagna is Virgo.

Characteristics: Virgo is an Earthy sign and therefore I am more practical

oriented. Being a vaishya sign, i get along well with others (required for

business). As per the characteristics given by Gurudev Narasimha Rao, people

born in Virgo will be tactful and have good discretion. This is true in my case

.. Also, Virgo represents libraries, bookstores and lush green gardens and I like

to go to such places.Virgo is strong during day and I like to do most of my work

in the morning , especially in the early morning when I am fresh in my mind. The

lagna has Rahu with Jupiter and Saturn aspecting lagna by griha drishti and Sun

by Rasi drishti. The aspect of Guru (who is in conjunction with Budha, the

lagna lord) from the 9th house and the rasi aspect of sun from the 10th house

gives me a tendency to be religious . The aspect of Sun, a Pitta planet has

made me dislike being ordered to do something (also because of 10th lord in 9th

- independence) and like to work both independently as well as with a team to

achieve a common goal.

Health : The aspect of Saturn has given me a slightly emaciated body. Also,

Saturn is afflicting the Moon by conjunction and is aspected by Mars. The

aspect of this saturn on lagna has given me a 3 attacks of epilepsy and

prolonged medication . Saturn is also the 6th lord and i had a sickly

constitution during my childhood which is better now.Virgo is a Vaata sign and

i lack endurance power.

2,3)From Gurudev Narasimha's book, the key to identify reasons for exaltation

and ownership houses are to find the houses in which a planet feels at home for

ownership and find the place where the planet feels excited for exaltation

Sun: The Sun is the King of planets and he feels at home in his palace. Leo

represents palaces and hence Leo is the own house for Sun.The King feels

excited in war and likes dynamism. So his exaltation should be a movable sign

and a fiery sign. Only Aries fits the bill and hence his exaltation sign is

Aries

Moon : Moon is the Raja Maata and has motherly love and Cancer, the 4th (Mother)

house of zodiac is the own house of Moon. The mother feels excited when she is

feeding the family and hence, Taurus, the 2nd house of zodiac (mouth) is the

exaltation place for the moon. As traditionally, feeding (cooking etc ) is also

the official work of a mother (house wife) , Taurus is also the Moolatrikona

house of Moon.

Kuja : Kuja is the soldier/ General of the army and his most exciting pastime is

to hunt and hence is exaltation place is Capricorn which signifies beasts and

bushes.As a soldier , he loves exciting and dynamic places and hence Aries , a

dynamic sign is his own sign. Even in his official function , he has to be

dynamic and hence Aries is also his Moolatrikona. As a general, he has outer

physical strength as well as inner strength. Inner strength comes from a belief

in something beyond and hence scorpio, the sign of inner strength (8th house of

zodiac - inner strength, paranormal ) is also his own house. Scorpions are also

vindictive, another characteristics of a Mars . This is a trait absent in the

royal King sun. Thus, in Aries, Mars gets the external and perciptible strength

and in scorpio , internal strength.

Budha : Budha is the prince. The prince has 2 characteristics - fun and frolic ,

creativity and curiosity as a toddler and he also likes learning as a

responsible prince. Gemini is the sign for fun and frolic as also curiosity (

the sign of mrigasira, the curious deer) and in virgo the prince is at home

learning various branches of learning in the library, bookstores and thereby

expanding his knowledge ( Budha looks sidewards , curious for more knowledge).

Thus Gemini gives the playful prince and virgo gives the responsible prince.

Guru : He is the preceptor of demi -gods.He is at home in the temples (9th

house) Saggitarius and hermitages (Pisces) and hence Saggitarius and Pisces are

his own houses. He is excited when he does some learning in the shastras and

hence Cancer , the 4th house of learning is his exaltation house. In

Saggitarius, not only does he have to officiate as a priest , but also manage

the temple and hence he will have responsibility and dynamism (fiery

saggitarius) .But, in Pisces, he is more interested in Para Loka matters.

Sukra : The planet of enjoyment and sexual pleasure feels at home in the 7th

house of the natural zodiac (Libra) and in luxury halls (Taurus) . He is most

excited to be in a

While in Taurus, Sukra is more like the family wife tending to family affairs ,

whereas, in Libra Sukra is more interested in husband ( dealings with others )

and hence he is also good in business in Libra. Sukra is most excited to be in

watery places and to be in places where there is comfort of the bed ( 12th

house ) and hence Pisces is the exaltation place for Sukra. He does not like to

lead a principled life and hence Virgo is his place of debilitation.

Sani : Sani is a labourer and tamasik in nature and hence the 10th house of

natural zodiac, Capricorn , the house of karma is the home for him. He likes

hard work and hence Aquarius, the house of hard work is also his own house. In

Capricorn, he is the union leader and organizes the work and in aquarius he is

the worker. He is sluggish and hates dynamism and belligerence and hence Aries

is his debilitation. His most exciting place is the factory, and Libra

representing factories is his exaltation place.

Rahu : Rahu, the materialist planet is only concerned with gains and only

material gains excites him. Hence, the 11th house Aquarius is his exaltation

house. He feels at home in the gambling den and hence Gemini is his own house.

He dislikes religion and spirituality and hence 9th house saggitarius is his

debilitiation place.

Kethu : Kethu is the spiritual person and feels at home in the worship of the

lord in temples and hence saggitarius is his home. he dislikes the extrovert

materialism of Gemin and hence gemini is his debilitation house. He is most

excited to be performing deep meditation in a secluded place such as caves and

hence Scorpio (caves) is his exaltation place.
