Venus is in the 8th in u'r chart along with exalted 12th lord SunAs far as the

discussion thread of venus in 8th and renunciation/ control of sexual urges is

concerned, i feel that we should also look at the role of the 3rd house.

 

the lagna lord in the 7th in debilitation and that too being mercury might

result in a flirtatious nature.

Der Sateesh,

Thanks for pointing out my oversight of Rahu's placement. Looking

at marriage aspect, the negative pointers are :

1) 2nd lord and 9th lord in 8th in rasi.

2) dara karak - sun in 8th

3) Rahu in 4th in sun's nakshatra - rahu spoils happiness in 4th

house, but his placement in his enemy's nakshatra renders him less

powerful to unleash his maleficence.

4) kala sarpa yoga involving 1st and 7th houses (marriage) in navamsa.

5)6th lord sani aspecting 7th lord jupiter by rasi aspect in rasi.

 

positive factors ( or -ve - depending on your perception) :

1) 7th lord jupiter in 9th with 9th lord in navamsa gives family and

hence marriage.

2) 2nd from upapada lagna is strong with an exalted planet and a

neechabhanga yoga.

3)12th lord in 8th can give viparita yoga and as the 12th lord is

darakarak, he can give late marriage. 12th lord in 8th also causes

asceticism.

 

>From the above points, i feel that with appropriate remedial

measures, the native can get married and the married life will lead

to a renounced outlook.

 

as per the ayanamsa chosen , the native is currently under rahu dasa,

ravi bhukthi. either this bhukthi or the bhukthi of kuja can give

marriage.

Many thanks for your comments which all seem appropriate.

 

One point on number (5) - you cite Saturn's 6th Lordship only (not 5th), which I

assume is due to MT of 6th Lordship (non-mt is 5th) - you also give Saturn a 9th

(not 10th aspect) to 7th Lord Jupiter - but again, I note you cite Rasi aspect

(not Planetary aspect) here. So I will go with you on that.
