Even an ordinary astrologer without computer does one more divisional chart called navamsa chart besides rasi chart. Following points are borne in mind while studying divisional chart. -Planet occupying benefic signs in divisional charts becomes powerful -Vargottama planet is powerful provided it is not in debilitation and sandhi -Divisional charts are always studied with rasi chart and only combined effect can be said and not individual effect. So divisional charts are not independent -Study the divisional chart as follows -Lagna lord of the divisional chart -Lord of the specific house under consideration (like marriage 7th house) -Planets posited in rasi chart and their position in divisional chart (like 10th house lord position in dasamsa) -Natural significator -Position of dasa and antardasa lords -Exalttion/debilitation just in a divisonal chart does not confer the results if they are not signified in the rasi chart -Planet in 11th house in a divisional chart gives favourable results and planets in 8th house in a divisional chart gives unfavourable results subject to the condition that this planet is similarly posited in the rasi chart Hora varga chart analysis: The effect due to hora will fructify if either Sun or Moon is strong and aspected bylagna lord or if the lagna lord is in an angle/kona. Horas particularlyof lagna in various rasis give rise to characteristics, health and wealth of the native According to Yavanas ownership of 'Horas' is not only in Sun and Moon but other planet houses also. This is however is not recognised by Varahamihira or Satya. In horary (Prasna) only this is acceptable as the same has been evolved from Yavanas. Navamsa varga chart: A native’s complexion, disposition and appearance can be deduced based on the rising navamsa lagna at birth. The effect will depend on the strongest of the two Lana lord or Moon. Trimsamsa varga: Note the strongest Moon or lagna lord. Its positio/aspect/conjunction with trimsamsa of Mars, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter or Saturn will give the effect as per the associated planet. This is very useful in predicting the character of woman viz. If the Moonor lagna lord (strongest among the two) placed in trimsamsa varga in the house owned by Mars (Aries/Scorpio) the woman may not be of good character, in the house owned by Mercury the woman will be of cunning and so on. In addition you may be awre that each varga chart is analysed for a specifica purpose like Drekkana chart for brothers and happiness, saptahmsa chart for children, grand children and so on. Many more later, (I had written 20 books on astrology and I will be discussing about this in my academy as well as with you people too.) bye then, D.V.R.Rajakumar - M.Tech (I.I.T.
