Dear Jyotishas,

Can somebody please give me the english names for the six seasons and

corresponding months(the months are given in Santanam trans BPHS if right I

will take that).

Hi Sanjay,

 

I am a newbie but this is what I know about the traditional Indian

seasons.

 

Grishma -- Summers June -- July

Varsha -- Rains July -- Sept

Sharad -- Autumn Oct -- Nov

Hemant -- Early Winter Dec -- Jan

Shishir -- Winter Jan -- Mar

Vasant -- Spring April -- May
