Dear Gurus

I was going through the June 2000 issue of "Jyothish News".I am a

recent member of this group.I came across the article "Awastha"

penned by Mr.Zoran.The article was very imformative. I tried to put

this concept to the planet awastha in my own horoscope.Saturn which

is in Vrischika Rasi (Scorpio) and retrograde is in Vrudhaa

avastha/Suptha Avastha.I can under stand Vrudha avastha but not

suptha avastha.Please excuse me.I am a leo ascendant with Taurus

Rashi.

 

Now the questions are:

 

1.If a malific is in Vrudha avastha,does he tend to be more malefic?

2.If this malefic is retrgrade, does the effect of maleficity

decrease or reversed and so the awastha also?

3.If the planet in Vrudha awastha is aspected by a benefic,does his

awastha change,particularly if its is in retrogression?

4.what would happen to such a planet which is in parivartana?Here the

Saturn exchanges place with Mars.Mars is in capricorn.Mars is uccha

here for Leo ascendant.

5.The planet in question is in the Kendra (4th house from Lagna and

7th house from Rasi-Moon),what is the awastha signification here?
