Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha! Dear Gurudeva, Namaste. Thank you very much for taking time and clarifying this. The concept is much clearer now. But, i still feel that i don't fully understand, what exactly does "Argala" mean. in terms of "in what ways does it affect the affairs of house". when we say "intervenes", what does it really mean?. Generally Fixed signs have argala on movebale signs and the same argala are obstructed by dual signs, and dual signs have argala on fixed signs and the same is obstructed by moveble signs, etc...(in addition to 4/10 ofcourse). Is there a significance/importance to this in a higher plane?. If you could give us some pointers to grasp this, i feel we will have a better comprehension/understanding of "Argala" in full. May be you could give us a lesson on Argala to understand this better. For example, Aries causes ARGALA on Gemini, Capricon, Pieces, Virgo and Sagitarious. The *same* signs i.e Gemini, Capricon, Pieces, Virgo and Sagitarious cause VIRODHARGALA on Aries. > [Rath:] Virodh-argala is caused to an Argala and not a Bhava per se. For example, Cancer causes or 'has' argala on Aries but Aries does NOT have virodh-argala on Cancer (i.e. reckoned from Cancer). Libra has argala on cancer and Aries has virodh-argala on Libra. Aries is not disturbing Cancer but Libra and in the process the obstruction is felt by Cancer. > > All the houses (it's matters) a given house tries to help/intervene, are the same houses that try to disrupt/obstruct the original house matters. Or is it, only when there is someone intervening/helping (Argala) would the obstruction/disruption (virodhargala) may be considered? > [Rath:] Virodha is stronger - Argala will not fructify. > > 3) When both houses that cause argala and virodhargala are devoid of planets, would the lords be considered to identify the areas/source of influence/help and obstruction the house in question may encounter? > [Rath:] Both argala and virodha are of equal strengths prima facie.
