(Of course Sandjayji and many our Gurus knows it but they are so busy) I began read it but many things are uncleared for me (Why did Takshaka bite Parikshit? Of course the was curse from braman but why exactly Taksaka was was did it? Taksaka is a Kashjapa son but during the meeting between Kashjapa and Takshaka they told as strange persons it is strange for my understanding. The Brahman who cursed took his name Takshaka would bite him.. He just did not mention "You will be bit by a snake". So Takshaka had the obligation of biting him. Why do the Mahabharata start with Serpent Sacrifice. (I think) That's when Parikshit invites Sage Suka to tell about the manifestations of Maha vishnu.. and that's how the story starts.... Mahabhartha started long before king parikshit( he was grand son of Arjuna, the third pandava brother). It is bhagavatha story that starts with king parikshit being cursed and the kali yuga starts from near around there.
