Some of you know me as the administrator of vedic astrology list; some of you

know me as the author of JHLite software; some of you know me as a student of

Pt. Sanjay Rath; some of you know me as a Jyotish Guru at SJC; and, some of you

know me as the author of the textbook "Vedic Astrology: An Integrated Approach".

 

The Jyotish tradition I belong to traces itself back to Sri Achyuta Dasa, a

great astrologer of Orissa and one of the pancha sakhas (five associates) of

Lord Chaitanya. In his name (and with the blessings of Pt. Sanjay Rath), I am

holding "Achyuta Jyotish Workshop" in New Jersey (USA) on 2003 January 25 & 26

(weekend). Due to the limited time, your help in spreading the word to any

interested parties will be appreciated.

 

The stress in this workshop will not be on calculations, because software can

take care of that. The stress will be on making judgments. This workshop will

aim at teaching how to put the building blocks of Vedic astrology together and

make predictions. The classes will be practical and interactive. We have a

laptop projector on hand and can go through charts in JHora (my software)

together.

 

As we have only 30 seats, we request you to RSVP immediately if you want to

Accomoodation/Pickup: Suresh Chandra can accommodate some people at his house

and he may be able to pick up people at the Newark airport (not New York JFK).

Due to financial constraints, we are not sure if we will record these classes or
