Timing of new job

Respected Gurus and Dear Fellow Listmembers,

I was trying to find out the timing of new job for a

friend who had been out of job for the past few

months. He came to the US in Feb 2001 and has been out

of job most of the time with a few short term projects

in between.

My guess was that he will pick up the next job only

after Feb 25 2003 as his Ven/Mer/Jup as Jup is the 5th

lord in D-10. He got interviewed and select on Jan 17,

2003 and joined on Jan 18 (last Saturday). So I

changed his birthtime from 00:45 to 00:53 so that the

Jup PD starts from Jan 18.

He had to move to Chicago from NJ for this job leaving

his family behind and hopes to come back soon. Jup is

also the 8th lord and and is in the 8th in D-10. So I

guess this project will be a long term one with

stability and so he wont be coming back soon.

In D-4 Jup is the 4th lord and is in the 10th

(probably thats why change of residence for job) and

aspects the 4th by Graha as well as rashi drishti. Is

it because of this that his move has occured?

I was also following the discussion on this topic in

the vedic astrology list and am confused now. Is it

the period of 5th lord or the period of the planets in

the 5th which gives a new job?
