VRY - a doubt

In his lessons on VRY ,Sri Sanjay Rathji has analysed a horoscope of

a bureaucrat - (http://www.srath.com/Lessons/viparita_rajyoga.htm )

 

I quote

 

"Thus, VRY can also be caused if Saturn becomes a Yogakaraka (for

Taurus & Libra Lagna) and is placed in a Dusthana in debility/weak."

 

and

 

"When Saturn is the ninth lord, the native has misfortunes until he

ascribes to a spiritual order. Thereafter he has Rajyoga."

 

Can someone clear a few doubts -

 

- Is it that for Taurus ascendant saturn creates obstacles if it is

in 3/6/8/12 ?

 

- Is the above 2 conditions applicable if in taurus ascendant ,saturn

is

in 3rd house

Dear Rishikesh,

 

Yes. Saturn in 3rd for Taurus ascendant can be considered as VRY.

If there are other planets conjoining such a saturn, their

significations may suffer. The Rajayoga results may manifiest during

the major/sub periods of Saturn.

 

Saturn owning 9th by itself may not bring mis-fortunes (This rule

is also considered if Saturn is placed in 9th house, for any asc). I

think we will have to see other factors such as saturn's placement,

malefic/benefic aspects on 9th house and on saturn himself. In the

example you have, Saturn is clearly YogaKaraka (on account of owning

9th and 10th houses), and so may not be malefic for 9th house

matters. Especially since he is aspecting 9th from 3rd.

 

May the learned Gurus, please correct my understanding.
