Dear List Members,

Could someone kindly

clarify for me the precise and specific definition of “Yoga Vipareetam”?

Is this a term strictly

and specifically relevant to usage in the context of AK positions in the 1st,

3rd, 7th, or 9th with respect to the

evaluation of increasing the

determinants of the life span when additionally

italic">supported by the 8th lords position in a quadrant

(or dusthana), or does if infer other

specifics with regard to additional evaluations? In other words, is this a dual

edged terminology that may confer both a plus and a minus so to speak, such as

indicating an important determinant for altering the longevity indicators for

increasing the life span by virtue of AK

position, while at the same time causing losses

relative to the karakas indicated by the house that the AK lords when

additionally supported by the 8th lord’s position? Or am I missing

it completely?

Please forgive me if clarity on this

terminology has been previously addressed in this forum. The only references I

have found on Yoga Vipareetam are

in COVA, and being a westerner, I am unable to fully get clear perspective, at

least with respect to any degree of complete

clarity. If there are other references that I have overlooked, please kindly

direct me to the sources. Thanks for any clarification on this specific

terminology.

Namasshivaaya!

Dear Sandy,

As far as i know, "YogaVipareetham" as a term was used only when

considering Longevity alterations, as you rightly mentioned.

Sanjay ji, talked about it at Ukiah seminar, in detail, when

dealing with Longevity and ShoolaDasa.

I am not aware of this term being used in any other context. Again,

I could be wrong :-)

Best Regards,

-Suresh.
