Dear Nimmiji,

Thanks for posting your personal example. Was there a Sarpa Yoga in your TP for

1999, was it not broken with the presence of Jupiter and Moon? (in Kendras to

Lagna in the TP chart). Please let me know.

This year (2003) I have a Sarpa Yoga. Lagna In Leo, with Sun in 7th House. Mars

with Ketu in 4th in Scrpio and Sat with Rahu in 10th in Taurus. No benefics in

Kendras.

Mars is the Hora lord and Yoga Karaka, giving Ruchaka yoga. TP lagna is in10th

from Natal Lagna (Scorpio).

Week lord (Friday), Venus is a functional malefic for Natal Lagna.

My main concern is, will the Sarpa yoga dominate or will Mars show its

beneficience as an yoga karaka!

I am attaching my chart for your reference. Please let me know.

Thanks & regards

<106350.3660@c...> wrote:The following is a practical application of the TP as

taught by Sanjay. The attached chart is the Thithi Pravesh chart for the year

1999 for myself. I like to use that as a useful year as it was very eventful. I

also attach the birth chart for comparison. This was a year I had a serious

emergency operation due to a bowel problem.1.. There is a sarpa yoga in the TP

chart with the ascendant containing mars aspected by debilitated saturn from

the 7th. 2.. Saturn is with Jupiter, ruling the 3rd and 6th.3.. Moon is

conjunct ketu in the 4th 4.. Lagna lord is in the 10th conjunct Rahu in the

10th5.. Mars and Jupiter are both vargottama, showing issues that cannot be

avoided6.. If I use compressed Vimshottri dasa, the event happened during

Jupiter/Mars(1) Weekday: Take the ruler of the weekday running at the

commencement of New Year. If he is a benefic with respect to natal Lagna, it

will be a favorable year. If he is a malefic with respect to natal Lagna, it

will be an unfavorable year.Ans: Ruler was Saturn. Rules 8th (and 9th as

coruler) in natal chart.(2) Lagna: Take the sign occupied by Lagna in the

annual chart. If it is a quadrant or a trine from natal Lagna, the year will

bring the fruits of good actions of the past, i.e. it will be a favorable year.

If it is a Dusthana from natal Lagna, the year will bring the results of evil

actions of the past, i.e. it will be a year of obstacles.Ans: Lagna was Libra

which is in a trine. It was favourable in a number of ways, specifically to do

with interesting work. But very unfavourable for the health as shown by the TP

chart.(3) Hora: Take the ruler of the Hora (hour) running at the commencement

of New Year. This planet will be the most important planet during the year,

even more important than Lagna lord. The houses owned and occupied by this

planet will set the tone for the main events of the year. The strength,

placement and yogas of this planet will have a tremendous impact on the main

events of the year.Ans: Hora was that of Mars. Mars is AK. It is afflicting the

lagna and is vargottama. The events of the year are exactly those relating to

mars, and affected the house indicated by Jupiter - bowels. The connections

with the natal chart are also very interesting, especially the fact that the

moon is very close to its natal position. And the tajaka chart for 1999 had a

Aries ascendant, with very similar issues. I also had work originating from

overseas during this whole period, and continued to work despite the health

issues. And I was working from home throughout this period. Both these show up

well in the chart too.The operation happened on the 18th of September, with

symptoms starting at around 16:40 UK Time on the 17th. I noticed that on this

date, saturn had advanced to exactly square the TP rahu ketu axis, and

rahu-ketu had moved to around 1 degree of exact square of TP saturn. If

Narasimha's final program does automatic calculation of TP charts, it would be

a very worthwhile tool for this area of research.Best Regards,Nimmi--- End

Dear Gurudev,

You are right. My version of software apparently has a bug. The Sun

sign in the Annual TP chart can not be different from the Natal Sun

Sign, so the chart sent by me was incorrect.

The version you are using is nice and final, i think. It mentions

lords of Tithi, Vara, Nakshatra etc., i'll look forward to buying it

when rleased.

i have learned a lesson, not to trust softare blindly!

i am also relieved that there is no Sarpa yoga in the new TP chart.

Thanks for your guidance.
