Guest guest
SARVAM GYANANANDAMAYAM JAGAT AUM GURUBYO NAMAH Dear Karu, Namaste. Thankyou for your response. i had only the following points to convey in my mail. 1. Sharira and death fit into the definition of Arudha lagna as sharira is temporary and death is a perception. 2. Lagna may be construed as the time of manifestation of jeeva/individual "I". Till the time i becomes universalised in the concept of WE it continues - you can either call it merger of jeevatma and paramatma or dissolution of "I". As this is not mandatory/compulsory to take place in one janma it is better to analyse death with reference to AL. 3. Third, fifth and seventh dasas are perceived as troublesome/death inflicting. i wanted to draw up vimsottari dasa with reference to AL.(Robert Guru calls Moon as the karaka for AL) and to try/check the results shown by the 3rd,5th and 7th dasas. Jyotish vidya definitely helps the seeker a great deal in understanding the reality/antaryami. It helps in identifying the Guru devatha/karaka who in turn shows the dwara/gate(planet either placed in/strongly influencing the 12th from AK. As regards Atman, intellect etc., may i request you to kindly go through messages No.23834,23864 & 23866 in vedic astrology discussion group(these were ofcourse written under different circumstances). i thank you for the hope you expressed that SreeGanesha would shower his blessings. Indeed Ganesha is Gyanananda roopa/svaroopa and he is my, nay, our guiding force. AUM SHANTHI SHANTHI SHANTHIHI. Happily/happy to be yours, psramanrayanan Windows Server 2003. Do more with less. Guest guest
Om Sri Gurave namah Dear Ramnarayan, An extremely good explanation bringing out the essence. In fact, the very purpose of all spiritual paths is to learn that this Arudha is not the truth and instead is the head of the demon called 'Maya' who is so adept at building castles in the air. And that in seeking the truth you shall realize that even the apparent truth (lagna) is very removed from the real truth (atma). That is what was meant when the great ones said 'Sivoham Sivoham'.
