Dear Mr. Das & list,

Please do not act out in anger, nor insult a fellow Guru. You only risk the

curse of Lord Shiva upon you!

 

No matter their ideals or beliefs they are guru's and make an effort to

enlighten the students, and that effort should always be appraised, be they

short tempered like Maharishi Dhruva or Brahmarishi Vishwamitra.. In the end

the true light falls on the student, and VK Choudhry is definitely not leading

people away from this light as long as he's teaching Jyotish!

 

So please join me in prayer to cause peace between the Guru and Sishya. This

mantra is part of the daily practice advised to students, and should be recited

every morning at Brahma Muhurta:

 

Om Sah Navavatu | Sah Nou Bhunaktu |

Saha Veeryam Karavavahai Tejasvi Navadhimastu| Ma Vidvishavahai | Om Shantih Shantih Shantih|

 

So do not let the tamas of anger taint the pure knowledge which we seek to

establish on this list. Instead study sincerely and pray that the light of

Brihaspati may fall on all of us.

Everyone should make an effort to avoid tainting our study on this list, and to

make sure of this please do not post anymore harrasing or defaming posts of

that nature.. just pray and smile and learn, anything else is a waste of time

the best of health and spirits. Kendradhipati dosha is a classical astrological

concept and is totally irrelevant and inapplicable in today's time. KD as per

classical astrology means that benefics owning Kendra become functional malefic

for a particular ascendant and as per that Jupiter would be a functional malefic

for Virgo asdt. This is absolutely wrong. Jupiter is a first rate benefic planet

for the Virgo born natives. In your case Venus is weak as it is badly placed.

Jupiter is weak as it is in the mooltrikona sign of the weak Venus and Jupiter

is debilitated in navamsa. Juptier is a functional benefic planet for you and

all of your functional benefics, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter and Moon need

strengthening as they are weak. Saturn and Mars cause close afflictions in the

chart and you need to propitiate both Saturn and Mars regularly. Also avoid

impulsive actions and exercise patience to avoid hurting yourself through
