Vastu, Meridian and Toilets

Dear Sirs,

This is my first post to this group.

I want to know a few points in vastu.

 

1. What is the effect of Magnetic Meridian and How to calculate it?

 

2. If one(myself) has to construct Latrines outside the building,

What is the reference to measure the direction?

Is it the centre of the Building or the Plot in which it is?

3. Can the septic tank be built in the North-West? I presently have

it in the West.

 

Please, Clear these doubts.

Dear Jairam,

 

I am not a Vaastu expert. But just thought i will share with you

what i know in this regard.

Latrines should be avoided in North-Eastern direction for sure. For

that is the direction Lorded by Ishaan, and needs to be kept pure and

light under all circumstances. East and North also should be avoided

to the maximum. West/South/NorthWest/SouthWest are not bad directions

for this. Most recommend NorthWest to be ideal for constructing

Latrines.

Whichever way you look at it, it is the same. If you were to draw the

house/Plot on a sheet of paper, see which direction is NorthWest and

go from there.

Generally any digging the Earth/Well etc should be on the

East/North/North eastern direction. Because as per Vaastu, North and

East (Especially NorthEast) should be kept lower than the West and

Southern parts of the Plot/House. Keeping also in mind that NorthEast

has to be kept pure, Northern-NorthEast or Eastern-NorthEast can be

considered for SepticTanks as per Vaastu.

But, as our GuruDeva Sanjay ji teaches, the above rules are for

General purpose public buildings such as Library/school/hospital

etc... For residential Buildings, the best way is to workout Sodita

(Reduced)AshtakaVarga of all planets from the Owner's NatalChart, and

build/construct corresponding rooms based on signifying planets

AshtakaVarga Chart. For eg: for Latrines, Direction indicated by

highest number of Trinal bindhus in Saturn's SoditaAshtakaVarga will

be appropriate.
