Guest guest
Om Rameshvara Namaha, Namaste ( written Sukla Ashtami) Hello, Folks, if you have not picked up Varga Chakara I suggest you take a look at this wonderful piece of work. Divisional charts ( Vargas) are lucently laid out. This is worth the read... and will assist in our dicussions. D24 and D7 is brillint writing not to mention the Chapters Sanjayji writes, Narasimha, Robert K, and others. This knowlege is exceptional...and exercises a key principle for us the knower , as found in the Rk Ved , that is "Richo Ak-Kshare" or knowlege is structured in consciusness (a rough translation)- this comes from Chapt 1.164.39 of the Rk Ved. It applies to a Jyotish sisya or anyone wishing to gain knowledge. That a person's consciousness is the key to knowledge , for it is Structured there. That is, clarity of thought, windows of perception, etc is the key to comprehension as the knowledge is ALREADY there , its structured there. The full verse is "Richo Ak-Kshare Parame Vyoman Yasim Deva Adhi Vishwe Nisheduh Yastana Veda Kim Richa Karishyati Ya it Tad Vidus Ta Ime Samasate" This says (in general) He's whose awareness is not open/established in this field ( where the devas reside, that is this place of consciousness or pure Awareness - some call Absolute Being) of what value can these verses of the Ved accomplish for him? The insight of the Rishi's is impeccabile! Last, on our meeting as a group - the 10th Mandala of the Rk Ved says it best - (X.12.40). Rishi is Samavana, Agni is the deva; "Meet together talk together, let your minds apprehend alike; in a like manner as the ancient gods concurring accepted their portion of the sacrifice ( Homam).... Common be your intention, common be the wishes of your hearts; common be your thoughts so there may be thorough union among you."
