INVITATION: Saturday Night/Guru Pournima/Vratam

Namaste all,

 

We perform Satya Narayana Vratam on every Pournima (Full Moon) night at our

house. Satya Narayana is a form of Narayana, who symbolizes Truth

(Satya=Truth). His vratam is a ritual taught by Vishnu to Narada. It is

supposed to be very powerful and give immediate results in Kali Yuga.

 

Pournima of the current lunar month (Aashaadha) is known as Guru Pournima.

It is an auspicious day to pay respects to one's teachers and take a vow to

spread light and truth.

 

On the night of July 12 (Saturday), we will be starting Satya Narayana

Vratam at 8:20 pm EDT. It will take roughly 2 hours. At around 10:30 pm, we

will be serving the prasad as dinner to all the guests.

 

Everybody is welcome to attend this ritual. Particularly, those who consider

me as a guru and live within a driving distance from Boston may want to come

and attend the vratam with me on Guru Pournima.
