i bought my plane ticket but want to share expense for rental car

i will be arriving in newark at 5:00pm and i want to get a rental car

but i am on a tight budget unless someone wants to share expenses on

a rental car..or if anybody knows another way to get over there in a

cheaper manner that would be great....

Please give me your flight details and where you would be staying

etc...We will make arrangements to pick you up/drop off at the

Airport.

 

as you would be spending most of the day at the conference, in my

opinion rental car will be a waste of money, unless you have plans of

driving around in NewJersey pre/post the conference.

Dear Raja,

 

What you could do is ... book your room at Red Roof Inn. That way you

wont have any transportation problems. You could just walk to the

conference room .

 

Secondly, from Newark you could take a train and get down at

Metuchen, then take a cab(costs minmal) to the Inn.

 

In case, you want to rent, then there are atleast couple of attendees

(I would say most) at the Inn, there you can get together and share

the expenses and even share rooms if its ok to both parties!

 

I am posting this to the list as this would help others too.
