Dear Neeraj,

 

I am a learner making an attempt to respond.

 

Planets deposited in 12th house from karkamsa indicate Ishta devta. Planets

only indicate but are not deities themselves. If there are more than one

planets, strongest will indicate Ishta Devta. If there are no planets

deposited then the lord of the house would indicate the deity.

 

As per Verga Chakra book, odd sign would indicate male deities and even

female deities. Benefic would reflect Shanta Rupa and Malefic Ugra Rupa.

Rashi in which this planet is placed in D1 will influence the form of deity,

e.g if influenced by lagna = standing, 4th=sleeping, 7th=sittingand

10th=crawling.

 

Please refer bphs shlokas 63-74 of karkamsha chapter for selection of Ishta

Devta.

Dear Ramesh,

 

Thanks for the mail. I guess saturn, venus, sun, moon

(planets) can not be the Ishta Devtas. The deities

they signify become Ishta Devta like Narayana, Laxmi,

Shiva.....as with the planet.
