Ishta Devta, Dharma Devta

Hello Everybody,

 

I had a doubt regarding the determination of Ishta

Devta and Dharma Devta.

 

Ishta Devta - 12th from Karakamasa

 

Dharma Devta - 9th from Karakamasa

 

If no planets are placed in 12th and 9th house as

mentioned above,

 

so do the lords of these houses (Saturn, Venus) become

the Ishta Devta and Dharma Devta?

 

OR

 

The respective deities (Narayana, Lakshmi, Shiva,

Vishnu etc) become Ishta Devta, Dharma Devta etc as

per the associated diety with the planet?

 

 

Can Planets like saturn, rahu, ketu, mars itself

become ishta Devta? Or the respective deities are to

be considered.

 

I request gurus and senior members to solve my query.
