Therefore I want some suggestion/guidance on the following:- (My DOB is 09 July, 1977, 4.15PM, New Delhi, India) - For the last 3-4 years, I am facing problem of un-successness in my life, career and education. Each time success stops one ahead me. Or you can say that due to some force, I could not realise my dream/ideas into reality, even though everybody appreciates my ideas/views. Give your comments and suggestion for getting success in life. - I had wear Red Coral and Pearl on my right hand for six months and above, but does not help me. Now, presently for the last one month, I am wearing Blue Supphire on right hand in middle finger after consultation of an astrologer, but it is not showing its effects/results (neither positive nor negative), as normally it is known for. Kindly suggest me what I should do? - To discuss my kundli - If possible, then please tell me about my marriage, life partner. Guest guest Posted October 20, 2003 Report Share Posted October 20, 2003 Dear Arjun, For Scorpio Lagna the benefics are Moon and Jupiter, and Mars is mixed in quality as lord of 1 and 6. The general rule I learned is that if a natural and temporal benefic is weak in a chart you can strengthen it with mantras for the planet or deity associate with the planet, or with gems or metals. And for general remedy during all dasas you can recite the Mahamritjunjaya Mantra. As I learned it, in regard to gems, the Moon is considered generally benefic regardless of dark or bright, increasing or decreasing. In your chart two planets are weakened by presence in difficult houses and Moon also has a Saturn aspec. The Moon is in the 6th house and the Sun in the 8th house. Of the two, only the Moon is a temporal benefic. However the Sun does rule the 10th house of career (and honor, status, and power). A gem may be beneficial, but I would recommend Gayatri Mantra instead as it is the 10th lord and a ruby may be too heating for a Scorpio lagna. You are also in the Sun Vimsottari Dasa for which some recommend wearing a ruby. The Moon could be strengthened, however opinions vary because for fixed lagnas (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) the 9th lord causes obstructions. Some Scorpios wear a pearl, it can help with depression. The mantras are always safe: for moon or Devi. Jupiter has some benefit from Venus and some harm from Mars. The Venus with Mars and Jupiter in a fixed sign of Venus (and the 7th) most probably increases desire for passion in relationships. This may be made more intense by strenthening Jupiter, also lord of 5th house (Son) and 2nd house (family). The opinions vary considerably from different astrologers. I hope this information is of some value to you and does not just confuse you.
