In general wearing gem or mantras for lagna and ninth lord are good

which are Mercury and Venus for Virgo.

 

Lagna

 

The lagna lord Mercury has a Sun and Mars aspects which weaken it

however it is in the beneficial fifth house. And the

 

natural benefic Jupiter in the lagna also aspects the 5th to help,

but as mentioned before, receives a Ketu and Saturn aspect

 

which weakens it. Propitiating Ketu may help to remediate the effect

on the lagna of general difficulty.

Second House

 

The second house (contains Mars) and it's lord Venus is impaired (in

the sixth) so there may be suffering in regard to income

 

and other second house matters. Since Venus is the second and ninth

lord in the sixth house, strengthening it should be

 

helpful to benefits from authorities, good fortune, and wealth;

those issues related to second and ninth house.

 

Ninth house

 

Other factors that impact luck and career difficulties, and

relationship with the Father and authorities, are that

Saturn Mars aspect the 9th house, and benefic Jupiter aspects the 9th

house too but is aspected by both Saturn and Ketu

 

weakeing it. Strengthening the ninth lord Venus should help with

this.

 

Tenth house

 

The lagna lord is also the 10th lord, and along with Ketu and Saturn

effect on the lagna, can make it difficult for the

 

native to gain high status or to get proper recognition for efforts,

and in holding a job.

 

Eleventh house

 

The Moon is debilitated and is the 11th lord so strengthening it can

be helpful to income. The general rule is that you

 

would not strengthen the 11th lord as it would increase impulsiveness

and could cause harm. There are exceptions.

 

Remedies

 

According to Parasara, during Venus dasha with Venus in 6th house the

remedy is to recite Shatrudriya or Mrityunjaya mantra

 

and Give cow or female buffalo in charity. So this can be done.

There are some other remedies too such as mantas and gems.

 

I would try the mantras first, as natural unheated eye-clean gems are

very expensive.

 

If I recommend only one thing, it would be to do Mriuyunjaya mantra

or strengthen Venus (or Lakshmi) with mantra.

 

The native could wear an 2 ct. emerald or 3 ct. peridot or recite

mantras for Mercury (or Vishnu).

 

The native could recite mantras for Ketu (or Ganesh) to help with the

problems of Ketu in the Lagna.

 

The native could wear a 2 ct. diamond or 3 ct. white sapphire or

recite mantras for Lakshmi and/or Sukra to strengthen the

 

second and ninth house.

 

For Virgo lagna, some say it is ok to wear a pearl during the Moon

periods so that should be ok but the uncertain birth time

 

means that the Moon period may have started anywhere from November

2002 to October 2003 and will end sometime between July

 

2004 and June 2005. However the moon is debilitated and some

recommend wearing a pearl even when a malefic lord (Moon or

 

Devi mantras are always safe).

 

If the native does not want to propitiate the planets or wear gems,

it is possible to recommend devotion to God appealing to

 

the particular aspect corresponding to the planet involved, or

supporting charitible activities related to areas ruled over

 

by the planet:

 

Venus: love, beauty, art, grace, abundance.

Mercury: intelligence, reason, discrimination, wisdom, compassion,

love and healing.

Moon: Divine love, energy, and allure, giver of knowledge and

protection (Uma), rhythms and forms of nature.

Ketu: Divine protection, insight.
