APPEAL TO ALL -- HELP WITH BRAILLE BOOKS

Dear List,

 

forgive me for taking advantage from this list for a non astrological appeal.

 

i request you all -- a wonderful group of sensitive human being -- to help me

in collecting books in Braille for visually Impaired . books/ magazines in

English -- [ and if you get few in Hindi, or other Indian languages too] --

on any subject , encyclopaedias, dictionaries -- what ever you feel you can get

and donate -- kindly send us by post. i am providing postal address in the end

of this mail.

 

here in India , we do not have much published material in braille. but i know

countries like US, UK etc have a long list of such books on varied topics.i

know Seedlings in Livonia[MI] and national braille press in Bostan [MA] are

such publishers. as you belong to different countries -- reading material can

cover a vast range.

 

as financially it is not possible for me to get them i request you all for the

same. whatever you find and afford - kindly donate. it will help to establish a

rich library for Visually impaired, and will open up a whole new world of

information for them.
