given?

In COVA it is said "Take the longitude of the ascendant and multiply

by 81. Expunge multiples of 360o. The remainder should be in trines

to the Janma Nakshetra (natal Moon star) or Nama nakshetra (name

star)."

So it is from Janma not Trines from Lagna.

What you do

with you resultant degree of Kunda is separate. Janma Nakshatra or Nama

Nakshatra is the process used NORMALLY for Prasna rectification. Guruji doesn’t

use this for natal rectification any more – he has changed his opinion about

the technique. My own experience tells that this techniques rarely works in

natal charts.
