Respected Vistiji:

In one of your mails to me you have mentioned

"Practice mantra's and Japa. Learning this will be of a real interest

to your spouse and will strengthen the marriage. I have already

advised the worship of Rudra, practice that for now. Your Ishta

Devata, or one who will bring moksha is also a Lakshmi Roopa, so

meditating on Lakshmi regularly will be of great benefit to you

spiritually"

Also Ramapriyaji and Ramdas Rao ji suggested me to worship Goddess

Lakshmi. Ramdas Raoji suggested me the following mantra

Lakshmi Narasimhan Mantra

"Om Srim Hrim JayaLakshmi Priyaya Nityapramudita Cetase Lakshmi

Sritardadehaya Srim Hrim Namah"

which is for Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Narasimhan.

I have started chanting this mantra and as per your advise for

rudra/hanuman worship, i am reading hanuman chalisa and om namah

shivaya all the time.

Another thing i want to ask you is about the various forms of gayatri

mantra. Do we have to chant different gayatri mantra for each deity or

the main Gayatri mantra suffice for every diety. Plz advise.

I have one more question in regards to Istadevta and AtmaKaraka.

Doesnt the planet that is ur AK should also represent ur istadevata ??

Like for my case my AK is rahu but Istadevata as mentioned by u is

some form of Lakshmi. Plz guide me as to where should ones

consiousness be directed at AK or Istadevata.

Thanks for your time and i bow to you and ur guru.

Hare Krishna,

Bharat

Dear Bharat,

I am sure Visti ji will reply to your mail in detail but here is what

I know about AK and Ishta Devata.

AK represents ones soul and Ishta Devata is one who guides the soul

towards moksha . Ishta is to be seen from 12th from "karakamsa" in D-

9.

Regards,

Sameer
