Has the Dasamsa been rectified? Shani has Rashi

Drishti to the 6th House holding the Sun and Ketu, whilst the 7th House remains

empty.

Neechabhanga occurs due to the following:

1. Kendra: The kendra are the Vishnu sthana and the planet owning the sign of

debility or the sign of exaltation of the debilitated planet should be in

Kendra to Lagna or the Moon.

2. The debilitated planet should be conjoined an exalted planet. This cannot

happen for the Moon & its nodes Rahu/Ketu but can happen for the remaining six

planets in three groups of two each. The three groups are Sun & Saturn

indicating poverty to riches or vice versa; Mars & Jupiter indicating war to

peace or vice versa and Mercury & Venus indicating abstinance to enjoyment or

vice versa.

3. The debilitated planet is placed in exalted navamsa. This cannot happen for

the Moon, but can happen for the remaining eight planets. It indicates the

sudden change in fortune.

 

Neechabhanga cannot occur by any other means. It is also not like exaltation and

instead there will be debility first and then there will sudden change in

fortune i.e. period of bad luck/misfortune followed by good fortune.

Debilitated planet is in Aries, its lord Mars is in 8H (2H from Moon). Saturn

gets exalted in Libra, its lord Venus is in 8H (2nd from Moon). So the 1st

condition is not satisfied. Saturn is not conjoined with any planet and hence

not 2nd condition is not satisfied. 3rd condition is not applicable since we

are talking about debilitation of Saturn in D9. None of the conditions

mentioned by Sanjayji in this mail are satisfied.

 

Some also check placement of planet that gets exalted in the sign of debilitated

planet. Sun gets exalted in Aries which is the sign of Saturn's debilitation.

Now Sun is placed in Kendra. I will let Visti comment further.

Dear Raj,

Let me add an important point here. A retrograde debilitated planet is often

taken as exalted. Retro planet is taken to give results similar to its

placement in opposite sign. Libra's opposite sign is Aries and where Saturn

gets exalted. So things are not so bad after all! Some believe that exaltation

in such cases is achieved after some time!

Thanks for the comments. This was really a good learning session.

The two new thing that I learned is that a debilitated planet behaves differently if in retro

(even may give good results later if placed in the opposite signs of exaltation).

Also regarding Rameshji's earlier comment:

Sun (exaltation lord of Aries) is placed in a quadrant from Shani who is placed

in Aries sign, will that cancel debilitation?

For beginners that statement is ok – but for someone of your knowledge we need

to be more concise. Infact when a planet is retrograde it has stopped following

the ways of the Sun – so also it will not follow the Sun-signs anymore (it has

become like Rähu – retro). So naturally whatever indications are indicated by

the sign it is placed in – it will deny and try to give the reverse. The reason

it is causing this denial is a lesson from God – we desired something so badly

in past lives that God wants to teach us that desires will be our undoing – so

it keeps denying until we relinquish this desire… Then maybe the desire gets

fulfilled after that. Problem is that this desire is sooo strong that the

person doesn’t give up without a fight.

Let me add an important point here. A retrograde debilitated planet is often

taken as exalted. Retro planet is taken to give results similar to its

placement in opposite sign. Libra's opposite sign is Aries and where Saturn

gets exalted. So things are not so bad after all! Some believe that exaltation

Neechabhanga occurs due to the following:

1. Kendra: The kendra are the Vishnu sthana and the planet owning the sign of

debility or the sign of exaltation of the debilitated planet should be in

Kendra to Lagna or the Moon.

2. The debilitated planet should be conjoined an exalted planet. This cannot

happen for the Moon & its nodes Rahu/Ketu but can happen for the remaining six

planets in three groups of two each. The three groups are Sun & Saturn

indicating poverty to riches or vice versa; Mars & Jupiter indicating war to

peace or vice versa and Mercury & Venus indicating abstinance to enjoyment or

vice versa.

3. The debilitated planet is placed in exalted navamsa. This cannot happen for

the Moon, but can happen for the remaining eight planets. It indicates the

sudden change in fortune.

 

Neechabhanga cannot occur by any other means. It is also not like exaltation and

instead there will be debility first and then there will sudden change in

fortune i.e. period of bad luck/misfortune followed by good fortune.

Debilitated planet is in Aries, its lord Mars is in 8H (2H from Moon). Saturn

gets exalted in Libra, its lord Venus is in 8H (2nd from Moon). So the 1st

condition is not satisfied. Saturn is not conjoined with any planet and hence

not 2nd condition is not satisfied. 3rd condition is not applicable since we

are talking about debilitation of Saturn in D9. None of the conditions

mentioned by Sanjayji in this mail are satisfied.

 

Some also check placement of planet that gets exalted in the sign of debilitated

planet. Sun gets exalted in Aries which is the sign of Saturn's debilitation.

Now Sun is placed in Kendra. I will let Visti comment further.

Retrograde and exalted saturn sits in my 5th house.

 

I had my first child very early, I was still in

school. At that point I wasnt even desiring for a

child.

Higher education also had no problem: I am a PHD. My

education was also uneventfull.

 

Can you please explain what I am missing?

Thanks for the comments. This was really a good learning session.

The two new thing that I learned is that a debilitated planet behaves differently if in retro

(even may give good results later if placed in the opposite signs of exaltation).

Also regarding Rameshji's earlier comment:

Sun (exaltation lord of Aries) is placed in a quadrant from Shani who is placed

in Aries sign, will that cancel debilitation?

be more concise. Infact when a planet is retrograde it has stopped following the

ways of the Sun so also it will not follow the Sun-signs anymore (it has become

it is placed in it will deny and try to give the reverse. The reason it is

causing this denial is a lesson from God we desired something so badly in past

lives that God wants to teach us that desires will be our undoing so it keeps

denying until we relinquish this desire Then maybe the desire gets fulfilled

after that. Problem is that this desire is sooo strong that the person doesnt

Let me add an important point here. A retrograde debilitated planet is often

taken as exalted. Retro planet is taken to give results similar to its

placement in opposite sign. Libra's opposite sign is Aries and where Saturn

gets exalted. So things are not so bad after all! Some believe that exaltation

Kendra to Lagna or the Moon.

2. The debilitated planet should be conjoined an exalted planet. This cannot

happen for the Moon & its nodes Rahu/Ketu but can happen for the remaining six

planets in three groups of two each. The three groups are Sun & Saturn

indicating poverty to riches or vice versa; Mars & Jupiter indicating war to

peace or vice versa and Mercury & Venus indicating abstinance to enjoyment or

vice versa.

3. The debilitated planet is placed in exalted navamsa. This cannot happen for

the Moon, but can happen for the remaining eight planets. It indicates the

sudden change in fortune.

 

Neechabhanga cannot occur by any other means. It is also not like exaltation and

instead there will be debility first and then there will sudden change in

fortune i.e. period of bad luck/misfortune followed by good fortune.

Debilitated planet is in Aries, its lord Mars is in 8H (2H from Moon). Saturn

gets exalted in Libra, its lord Venus is in 8H (2nd from Moon). So the 1st

condition is not satisfied. Saturn is not conjoined with any planet and hence

not 2nd condition is not satisfied. 3rd condition is not applicable since we

are talking about debilitation of Saturn in D9. None of the conditions

mentioned by Sanjayji in this mail are satisfied.

 

Some also check placement of planet that gets exalted in the sign of debilitated

planet. Sun gets exalted in Aries which is the sign of Saturn's debilitation.

Now Sun is placed in Kendra. I will let Visti comment further.

I would say nothing is out of the ordinary, though I

can mention this:

 

I have exalted Sun in the 7th from exalted Saturn.

 

Things dont happen easily.

Once I get it, It gets lost very soon.

This is about material stuff.

 

Spiritually I am strong. I dont grieve over things

lost. And in a wierd way in my heart feel happy that

the goodies are gone. Dont tell it to others though.

 

The detached feeling I thought came from Ketu in

lagna.

Let me add an important point here. A retrograde debilitated planet is often

taken as exalted. Retro planet is taken to give results similar to its

placement in opposite sign. Libra's opposite sign is Aries and where Saturn

gets exalted. So things are not so bad after all! Some believe that exaltation

in such cases is achieved after some time!

Debilitated planet is in Aries, its lord Mars is in 8H (2H from Moon). Saturn

gets exalted in Libra, its lord Venus is in 8H (2nd from Moon). So the 1st

condition is not satisfied. Saturn is not conjoined with any planet and hence

not 2nd condition is not satisfied. 3rd condition is not applicable since we

are talking about debilitation of Saturn in D9. None of the conditions

mentioned by Sanjayji in this mail are satisfied.

 

Some also check placement of planet that gets exalted in the sign of debilitated

planet. Sun gets exalted in Aries which is the sign of Saturn's debilitation.

Now Sun is placed in Kendra. I will let Visti comment further.

Hi Rema,

Since I don't have your char, can you check who owns Aq in your

chart - Sa or Ra? Also, see if Ju is in the lagna or aspecting it. I

hope you don't have the guru chandala yoga, since you said you had

an early child without even wanting one!

Also, since you say 5th lord Ve is in Aq, it could well be in

Purvabhadra, Ju's nakshatra. So if 5th lord in Ju's star gets

aspected by Ju itself, it'd also then aspect 5th house! All you then

need to ascertain is if Sa didn't turn direct for a couple of months

after your birth to understand why Sa didn't affect your child-

bearingness. Just as an aside, someone born in India at about noon

on Apr 16th 1955 is likely to have a similar combination...

Moola dasa at that point till 2017.

Hare Rama Krishna,

Namaste Ramapriyaji,

 

 

My 9th Aq lord is Saturn.

Jupiter is in First aspecting 5th house and 5th lord.

Venus is in Poorvabhadra.

 

I dont have Guruchandala. My child was not born out of

wedlock or any such thing. I only mentioned we were

not execpting a child since I was in school and was

planning on finishing my education first.

Saturn didnot turn direct for 4 months after my birth.

And my dob is april, 15 1955.

 

Please advice, if there could be any bad effects on my

children during my saturn dasa, which will start in

2011.
