Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna Dear Visti, Namaskar. Thanks for bringing the cleavage between astronomical & astrological factors. i have a doubt bothering me for a long time regarding retrograde planets in D60. Since we read past life (lives) from it, how to treat a planet which is in retrograde motion as far as d60 is concerned? Please guide me on this. Thanks & regards viswanadham , "Visti Larsen" <visti@s...> wrote: > ||Hare Rama Krsna|| > > Dear Bharat, Namaskar > > Combustion, retrogression, etc are astronomical phenomena. If we are to say that a planet is at a certain degree, again its an astronomical phenomena. As soon as we make the divisional charts, our astronomical heritage disapears, so how can we judge new ranges for combustion, retrogression etc? > > Now what is astrological phenomena then? Astrological phenomena are things like dristis, exaltation, Mülatrikoëa, etc signs of the various planets, sambandha and relative placements of planets giving various results. Argala, and such concepts. > > So the astrological phenomena we can surely re-use in the varga charts, but not the astronomical. > > This is what the parampara teaches â€" but others do experiment with the drawing of divisional charts and the degrees of planets relative to a 360 degree scheme within that chart… this we cannot abide by. > > So if a planet is combust or retrograde, it will affect the planet in all the divisional charts. > > Best wishes, >
Guest guest
Dear Vistiji and Viswanadham: Thanks for showing me the path. The argument on astrological and astronomical events does put the things in prespective. Above all i would say is the parampara or sastras talking about it. I feel our progress is being hampered by using the software because what we are doing is just looking at the structure without working on the foundation, we need to do more reading and understanding of the maths involved behind the structure and than draw inferences. Blessed are those who have a direct guru in front of them for teaching but for rest of us...internet, books, speculation and experience is a learning way.
