Dear Kannan, Namaskaar.

Allow me to share some of my understanding.

You have asked a good question. Both co-lords should be considered, and hence

you will have 2 ALs, one which will be dominant at a certain point of time.

Per the rules in calculating Arudhas, check whether a certain co-lord is in

greater strength, compared to the other. In this case, Ketu is with another

planet, and Mars sits alone. Hence the JHL software calculated Capricorn as the

primary AL.

Best wishes,

Nitin.

Respected Sirs,

It is said that Scorpio and Aquarius are ruled by 2 lords, ie for

Scorpio it is Mars and Ketu and for Aquarius it is Saturn and Rahu.

How can a beginner understand this and what are the procedures to

find out which planet is the lord. I am making this query because my

Lagna is Scorpio and Mars is placed in Aries. As per my little

knowledge Mars should be my lagna lord than Ketu (in this case Ketu

is in Gemini with Saturn). In the free software provided by Shri PVR

Narasimha Raoji, my AL is considered as Capricorn and not Virgo.

>From this I assume that the software takes my lagna lord as Ketu.

Hope any learned member would reply to me. Thanks in advance

Regards,

Kannan

Dear Nitinji, Namaskar

Thank you for your reply. I have one more logical doubt.

Mars being in his Moola Trikona (Aries)and Retrograde is having more

strength or an afflicted Ketu with Saturn is more powerful.

As per my logic Mars should be the strongest Planet. I don't know

what the theory says.

for a more clear view I give below the Planetary details.

Sun - Virgo

Moon - Leo

Mars®- Aries

Mercury - Virgo

Jupiter®- Capricorn

Venus - Libra

Saturn - Gemini

Rahu - Sagittarius

Ketu - Gemini

while fixing the correct AL I think you can help. As per jhd my AL

is Capricorn. Please let me know if AL is Capricorn and Jupiter ®

there what are the results. if the results not match with me then we

can consider Virgo as lagna with Sun and Mercury there.

Regards,

Kannan
