Guest guest
Dear Visti-ji, (1) In my D-10, if I am looking at the 2-6-10 houses, I find an exalted Jupiter and a debilitated Ma, both retrograde, are sitting in the 6-th house. It is interesting because Ju owns 2H (Pisces) and Ma owns 10H (Scorpio). What does this mean? Does it mean my work will be done by overcoming a lot of resistance (10-th Lord in 6H)I will be provided with a lot of resources (2nd lord in 6H) ? If this is true (a) what is the nature of work (b) How do we see success/failure in this work/career (in D-10 or Siddhamsa)? (2) What is the significance of AK in D-10 and other D-n ? AK signifies punishments/setbacks that are supposed to enlighten us. (3) This question is out of curiosity: what does DK signify? Is the DK planet of husband the AK of the wife? what is your experience? Thanks for your time, - Sourav

[Visti] 10th house shows the work you are qualified to do, if the 10th lord is in the 6th house, you actually do the work you were trained to do. In many cases people are educated as engineers and end up being salesmen or managers of some sort – so what you are qualified to do and what you are doing need not be the same. font-family:"Courier New""> If this is true (a) what is the nature of work (b) How do we see success/failure in this work/career (in D-10 or Siddhamsa)? [Visti] The nature of the work is indicated by the planets in the 6th initially, then the 10th and lastly the 2nd. Planets in the 6th will dominate initially, then the lord of 6th, and then the aspects on 6th – after which we move to the 10th house and analyze in the same way. Mars with Jupiter indicates working with a lot of money and logistics is indicated. D-10 alone is used to analyze the work we do, whilst the siddhamsa (d-24) is seen for education and learning. font-family:"Courier New""> (2) What is the significance of AK in D-10 and other D-n ? AK signifies punishments/setbacks that are supposed to enlighten us. [Visti] The atmakäraka in d10 indicates that work which will bring you closer to God. If AK is in 6th house in D-10 then the nature of the work can have strong spiritual overtones, or bring you closer to God – provided that the deity of the dasamsa (the 10 dikpalas) are also spiritual in nature. font-family:"Courier New""> (3) This question is out of curiosity: what does DK signify? Is the DK planet of husband the AK of the wife? what is your experience? [Visti] The AK is yourself, and the DK is your spouses/partners. font-family:"Courier New""> Thanks for your time, - Sourav ~ om tat sat ~ 10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New""> Thank you for maintaining the decorum of the Achyuta Ashram.
