Guest guest
Dear Visti-ji, what is the best and most authoritative source (classical source) for Upagrahas? No, I am having a diksha-mantra but I am also passing through a tremendous change in spiritual outlook. I am running Me antardasa and Me is my AK/LL/Navamsa-LL. So that is indicated that I will be going through such a change. I can't talk about it any more though I know that you have seen in in my chart. I want to ask you a question. I am thinking of learning Jyotish properly, not in an offhand way. Although, (it may be apparently) Jyotish talks too much about our relative existance, I understand that unless and until a firm understanding of this relativeness of life in under grasp, one cannot transcend it. Having said that I also want to say that learning Jyotish is not going to be my primary objective in life - it is to take care of all my present and future responsibilities and realize my Ishtam. But I realize Jyotish will help. (Are there any indication if learning Jyotish will be auspicious / inauspicious ? please see my chart) I believe in a strong traditional guru-sishya parampara and I dont think the real light will come only through my own intelligence and intellectuality. I want to ask if there is a possibility of being in touch with an upaguru/acharya in SJC, one who can accept me as a distant pupil and who will be able to provide me with guidance. What is SJC's stand on such a request. You have been a big help is many little ways. Thanks. - Sourav ======================================================= , "Visti Larsen" <visti@s...> wrote: > ||Hare Rama Krsna|| > > Dear Sourav, Namaskar > > The next division of the Upagrahas is in; Aprakasha vs Upagraha. > > Here; Dhuma, Indra Chaapa, Parivesha, Vyatipata and Upaketu are Aprakasha > Grahas, and can cause direct physical damage to the body or other peoples > bodies. > > The other upagrahas can cause loss of memory, or lack of knowledge, and in > few cases avert evil, like Yamaghantaka. > > In d9 they say that: Mandi placed in trines to Navamsa lagna causes one to > be without knowledge of ones birthtime. > > > > The reason I asked about your Mantra is because of the ammount of questions > you posed – I use vedic-numerology to see what influences the person is > under from their style of writing or the number of questions they ask. > > Best wishes, > > > > > Visti Larsen > > http://srigaruda.com > > <visti@s...> visti@s... > > > > > > _____ > > feynman_8 [feynman_8] > 10 December 2004 16:43 > > Re: #2: [Om Krishna Guru] To Visti-ji: three questions > > > > > Dear Visti-ji, > O.K. etimologically yes, I agree. Guest guest
||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Sourav, Namaskar Jupiter is in Lagna ensuring that through austerities Vach-Siddhi will come. Rähu and Ketu rule mathematics and Ganita which are important for Jyotish, hence when analyzing an astrologers chart, these two must be checked. Ketu is auspiciously placed in his moolatrikona sign in the 10th house, showing strong sense of spirituality and spiritual direction in life. Rähu is also well placed in his moolatrikona sign, however Rähu is in 4th house indicating kapata yoga, which will cause you to be cheated by many people in your attempts to learn and use astrology – you should learn the Prasna Shastra well to be able to spot this – Since Rähu is joined A7 it will be business partners, or people seeking your companionship who will try to cheat you. Since the A7 also shows the clients reasons for seeing you, most of the clients will either be seeking to cheat or scheme against others or have already been cheated by others. Rähu is the natural badhakesh, so many Bädhak related problems will be seen in the charts of your clients. Now these are normally not severe problems, but Rähu is also lord of the A5 showing your learning of Jyotisha and these clients can make you doubt or loose faith in your learning – Jupiters aspect on Rähu and A5 will however help you regain your faith, and continue learning Jyotish. One thing I must bring up – jyotish or non-jyotish. The 2nd from the A5 shows the predictions you make, and since Ketu is there, you can tend to give negative predictions quite easily and sometimes without thinking. This is not the way to use your Vach – Siddhi, and you must practice throughfullness due to the strength of your austerities.
