Dear Guruji,

I hope you could give me some advise how to choose right mantra for

Ishta devata.I already asked one similar questin, but hope I could

get some helpfull advise by you this time.I really respect your

knowlage beeing a SJC Guru and beeing learned in this subject.

When Rahu is Ista Devata for me-what mantra would be recomended to

recite? (as mentioned once it could help me clear some mind

clouds, and help my AK Moon purify )

And please tell me if one should be iniciated from Guru personaly

for Ishta mantra,or I could just simply acept one advised by you?

And, maybe it sounds to childish to you,but I got bit confused

reading from Jaimini sutras :

"...SU. 71.-Papairanyatha.

If the 12th from the Karakamsa is occupied by

evil planets, he will go to hell and will have no

Bliss..."

-I really try to conect how we can understand this sloka-if Ishta

devata(any planet in 12H) should lead us to liberation(moksha),how

we can judge from human point of view good/bad on this Atma level?

If it is said that malefic graha as AK will show higher chalenges

towards one's Atma,I wonder from that point of view what&how is

actually teaching us malefic graha beeing Ishta Devata?

And if it is not to much to ask, just to tell us what is placement of

Ishta D.in particular bhava indicating and is it more important

looking from rasi or navams.

I trully hope to get your answer on these questionings.

Thankfull

Maja

Please take note that all details of Mantra need to be gleaned from the fifth

house in a horoscope.Prioritywise, following factors should be given importance

1, The fifth lord

2,The fifth house occupants

3, The planets aspecting the fifth house and last but not the least

4, The operating dasha

To initiate into mantra, certainly an experienced Guru is necessary. However such

Guru's are extremely rare nowadays. You need not wait for the Guru.Time is

precious. You can start practise of Mantra from this moment itself.

I presume, you are satisfied by this much information..If you want further

details please e-mail me in my id pranavsiva (AT) (DOT) co.in along with an extract

of your horoscope duly giving the correct geographical co-ordinates & time zone

Best of luck

Dear Maja, Namaskar

When Rähu is Ishta Devata, the native may

suffer from “Durgati” which means ‘moving on the wrong path/direction’.

This way each of the malefics indicate some wrong doing or wrong worship which

sends one to inauspicious abodes. The antara dasas of those malefic planets who

are ishta devatas will give suffering for the sake of becoming more spiritual.

So – in particular Rähu brings the

wrong path – so we need a form of God who can remove this wrong path;

Durgati-nashinyai, is the actual name for Durga which means “destroyer of

the wrong path”. So we should advise you to worship Mother Durga in some

form.

Rähu is the chara pitri karaka, so we may infer

that your father or father-figures will have an important role in leading you

to your ishta devata.

Rähu is in the 7th house in the

rasi, so you will especially see the role of your ishta devata in matters relationships,

marriage, partnerships, etc.

The Beeja mantra to worship Durga is

usually given first, this is: “Dum Durgaayai Namah”

Best wishes,

Dear Guruji,

Thank you very much for kind advises.Just one more thing-if you

could give me practical way-

how many times to repeat that beeja mantra and when is most

auspicious time to practise it?(every seed is best to be plant at

most auspicious time )

As you said that beeja mantra is usually given first-did you mean

that during time it's recomended to change base and prolong it maybe?

Dear Maja, Namaskar

Two matters are involved.

color:black">1) The beeja mantra can be recited by anyone

as it is Pra-siddha, and is given by God, hence the native is already given

diksha, and doesn’t require diksha from a guru.

color:black">2) As one begins to realize the mother and

her various forms, the native is also taken to people/gurus who can help dwelve

deeper into the mothers forms, and hence the native can also receive diksha of

new mantras from these new gurus.

The day to start is Friday as your Rähu is

in Libra. The mantra can be recited anytime because it is an Ishta Devata

mantra, but preferably either at sunrise (brahma Muhürta between 4:30-6:00) or between

10 pm-midnight, also known

as Turya Gayatri.

Best wishes,

Dear Visti, Namaskar,

I thought that for Rahu one worships Balaji Venkateshwara .Or is

there more to it. Like should one see which Drekkarna( hope I got

the word right) the graha for the Ista Devata is present. The

reason ,is I too have Rahu as my Ista Devata and Guruji advised me

to worship Balaji.
