When it comes to Rahu we determine its strength based on the sign it is placed in & also on the strength of the dispositor. Is this correct ? I did read Sanjayji's article on Vimshotarri Dasa. I have attempted the same on my chart. Please correct me if I have gone wrong anywhere.... Lagna - Ta 4th - Sa (Leo) 7th - Su,Me,Ma (Scorpio) Since 4 or more planets in kendra to lagna, Tara dasa is applicable. Of these 4 planets Ma is the strongest since it is in own house & is aspected by exalted Jupiter both with rashi drishti & graha drishti. So the tara dasa will start from Mars. Next dasa will be that of Sun as it is placed in Scorpio, friends house with again aspect of Ju. Me & Sa are both placed in enemies house, but since Me gets the aspect of Ju too, it comes after Su. So the last kendra planet dasa will be Sa. These will be followed by dasas of planets in panaphara & apoklimas. Is the above correct ? I saw the example given in Sanjayji's website & yes that chart has 1 planet @least in each kendra. I got confused thinking that this was Vimshotarri Dasa from Lagna, now I understand that this is a seperate conditional dasa. So Vimshotarri from Lagna will be: Lagna - 2 Ta 25' - Krittika. Hence the dasa will be: Sun, Moon, Mars, Rahu, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, Ketu, Venus. I hope I got this one right...
